I had the absolute pleasure of meeting this wonderful man back in February, I was having a burger before his show and he and the entire band just showed up and sat down at the table next to me! They were all having a burger and a drink just an hour before going on. I chatted with them all and they asked me questions and were engaging, they even walked to the venue with me and my family. Amazing to meet your heroes. Even more so to know they're even better than you imagined.

I was there in one of front rows! To date, the best show of my life. I was living in NY at the time and didn't like my job so I quit and flew to Ireland and this show was the day I got off the plane :)

Wow. That is so cool. He and this song helped me after my divorce. I always thought of this gift as Jesus. And later my second husband. Powerful song and Glen is just amazing. My husband got to see him I Bloomington Indiana❤
This is one of the greatest Irish live performances of all time.
I am delighted to see Glen finally get the recognition he so deserves after years of work and dedication. I was lucky enough to meet him at a festival in France back in the late 90s. I was rather humbled to be in a band that was sharing the same stage as The Frames. I bumped into him after the show and he was kind enough to compliment our rather primitive punk/trad music. An absolute gentleman - modest, soft-spoken and genuine. Long may you rock Glen.

OMG, that's what living sounds like. F#cking tremendous. Not seen or heard a concert with the passion dripping off like that it since watching U2 in 1985. Glen, you've got something magic going on.
I agree, but imagine if Bono was more like Glen and less like a self-important fella. He does good things. Just saying that I wish Glen had those funds moreso than anyone in the world.

I met an Irishman in New Orleans who showed me this video and every now and then I watch it and it makes me so happy. Hope he sees this one day!

I had exactly the same thing happening to me, yes they are truly better than what I used to imagined (and I thought they were great!). I meet them for the first time when they came to France last winter and talk to them a bunch of time before they leave for Belgium then I went to Milan (Italy) to see them a couple of month later, like 3 or 4. And guess what? They all remembered my girlfriend and I! Glen told me "hey, aren't you that guys we've meet in France?"
These guys are truly amazing.

I’ve worked the iveagh gardens the last 12 years. This was one of the best shows we had. I really hope it can go ahead again this year

Dingo Dingo It’s been fine. Weather is good, plenty of food and beer. Can’t complain to much :p more and more businesses opening up and out fist day today with no confirmed covid19 deaths. Unfortunately the iveagh gardens have been cancelled. Till next year 🍺

Last time I went to Glens gig was in Vicar Street. When the gig was ended he came back out on the floor with his guitar and played for us all. A brilliant night. I have seen some great live footage from big gigs and concerts over the years but this video and sound are the best I have ever seen. Well done to the AY team you really captured the atmosphere, its like I was there. I just keep coming back.
