Around 3,500k - 4k rpm thats when u hear a squeak, when i coast in neutral i also still hear it even if the clutch is depressed going 30-40mph, but stops when im going slow. Im thinking its my belt but it doesnt make sense for the belts to squeak even having the clutch depressed… im thinking my problem is a u-joint or something :/
Also to note my belts dont squeak during start up or idle or below 3k rpm, even revving the engine there is no noticeable sqeaking noise unless its moving at a certian speed
Had the same exact noise. Matched with th-cam.com/video/xU8JqUatefQ/w-d-xo.html Spoke to my housemate who's a mechanic, if it's the ujoint, you can diagnose it by putting the car on a stand and just starting it keeping it at the same MPH when you normally you hear it.
i know you posted this 2 years ago but my Miata is making the same noise and oddly enough you are the only person that had a video of the noise, was this the fix? did it come back?
@@caseydarrow3271 i’ve got it too.. only when I’m driving, but I think it’s something in de speedometer. Because the pin is exactly moving with the sound and the sound does not come from the engine bay

Have you figured out the issue? Maybe the speed cable issue. Do you see your speedometer fluctuating?
definitely sounds like an alternator belt. I'd change it before it leaves you stranded!

I don't think I've ever had this noise come back after messing with the brakes. However, in general I've had many noises come and go haha.
Im having the same problem with mine. Any luck? Please let me know! Its driving me crazy. It only does it when I'm driving
@@caseydarrow3271 Does it match: th-cam.com/video/xU8JqUatefQ/w-d-xo.html ?
