Please do more of these type of videos. I have too many supplies and watch too many ideas and end up doing nothing. I really liked your crafty fatigue video's.
I love how share layouts that are simple and organic. Your methods for organizing card making make the hobby easier to enjoy and accomplish more at a session.
These images are wonderful but it is your watercoloring that brings them to life. Also, I love the addition of the ink blending which really makes them stand out. Great video and finished cards.
Fall is my favorite season. My job has it’s busiest time of year between July thru end of September so when October comes around I am so excited. My hubby is into fantasy football and loves watching the Sunday games so that’s my craftroom creative day. I too love to watercolor as well and learn a lot by watching your techniques. Your cards are so beautifully inspiring.
All these cards are really beautiful... reveals such a feeling of fall, you can almost feel the Autumn breeze. Beautiful watercoloring, shading, and use of the stencils. Thank you for sharing your creativity with us once again.
Dear Jill, you have made me so happy with this video. I just loved watching you create these stunning cards by watercolor. They are gorgeous. You always make it look so easy and give us all confidence to go out and try it. Thank you Jill. I just love all your projects. My favorite season is Autumn and winter. Big hug 🤗 💖☕️. 🧡🍁🌻🧡🌻🍂🧡
Jill, another wonderful crafting inspiration. So much food for thought. I love your idea of a plan for lessening the stress of too many supplies to just a few and letting our creative ideas just take off. Card making should be relaxing and not a stressful hobby. You eat that elephant one bite at a time. Thanks for your efforts for us on this side of the You Tube audience..Joy
I really appreciate how you provide a 'set up' to use when beginning a card making session. It gives me structure and ability to move onto enjoying the process more. Thank you for this vision you have undertaken to empower us to enjoy more.
Your kit ideas continue to ground us in our card making, yet open us to new inspiration in design. Your kit idea helps us to continue doing what we love to do I. Spite of a busy schedule. Kudos to you!
So many great ideas and advice. I love all these cards so, so much. Fall is a special season for me and your cards captured the feeling really well. Laura
I’m with you in that I love all things fall. I’m always sad to see it get lost in the shuffle of all the upcoming holidays. Thank you for taking a pause to celebrate this most beautiful time of year!
These are absolutely stunning! Jill, you are so talented! And you also give such great ideas to motivate and help us actually USE our stash! I want to use ALL your ideas and now I want all the supplies you used. Lol. Thank you so much for the creative inspiration!!!
Been binge watching some of your videos since I recently "Discovered" you. Love all your tips and suggestions, coloring techniques, creative card making. Just lovely. Autumn is also my favorite season, although here in Florida we don't really experience it. But just knowing that it's happening elsewhere makes my heart warm & cozy. Luv the idea you put forth in this video. Thanks so much for sharing. I've given you 👍s up and I just HAD to subscribe!😊 😊😊😊
Hello my Jilly girl! Back home finally, I am loving this video! Your Kit idea is fantastic, love the recipe style and great advise. I do think that it's important to enjoy the process. Iam getting a few of the new stamps that are gorgeous and plan to re-watch your videos and let you guide me as always. Big hugs to you, wishing you a lovely day! 😉 ♥️
Such a great idea, Jill! First, I must clean off a space on my desk, and I'm going to do this!!! I start too many projects, and then only get a few finished. I'm so excited because I have bought a palette, a good quality brush like yours and a few basic colors of the distress re-inkers. I'm ready to enjoy so many of your techniques soon with a cup of hot chocolate! It's already turning fallish where I live. Thanks for all of your inspiration!
Thank you Jill for this fantastic video. I have lost my creative MOJO. I think this will get me going. I love this create your own kit. I dont have any reinkers, but I know I can get around that. Love all the beautiful autumn colors! This is such a wonderful relaxing tutorial. Thank you so much!
Thank you Jill for such beautiful Fall cards. I make around 50 cards for Christmas and am usually working on them right up till the end of November so Fall/Thanksgiving cards have gone by the wayside. After seeing your beautiful cards I really want to get back into making a few for those special people in my life.
I love watching you watercolor. Especially with re inkers. Is is possible to watercolor with just the distress ink pads smooshed on an acrylic block and add a little water? I don’t have all the distress reinker colors.
Great question! You can absolutely watercolor by pressing your Distress Ink pad smooshed on an acrylic block and adding water- it looks great! Your color may be just a bit lighter because the ink will be diluted with water and not as concentrated as it is straight out of the reinker.
Another wonderful video and awesome cards! I would like to know what the advantage is to use Distress inks as watercolors? Why would you use them vs regular watercolor paints?
Great question and thanks for your kind words. I like the Distress Ink reinkers because of their intensity of color and my familiarity with their colors. They also are ready to go right out of the palette and don't require me rewetting/activating them with water to get them "paintable." (Hope that makes sense... heehee!) Also, it's just an extra way to use something I already have on hand.
Thank you for your videos, inspiring and cards are stunning, Are your card base also made from the watercolour paper too? I do struggle with the colour difference between the two, one is creamier tone and my bases are more white, I am in the UK so supplies may be different. Thank you

Can I ask why you use archival for the inking of edges as opposed to your distress inks?
Thanks for your question- either can be used, I just choose by which color I prefer. :)

@@PennyBlackInc Thanks for a great answer! Do you ever use the Distress Stains?
@@mpbailey18 I used them many, many years ago but used them directly onto brushstroke stamps, not for painting. I haven't had any for a long time.
