Hi Jill, I Love an assortment of cards. I always Love Elegance, but I also Love the cute for a younger group and their personalities and interests. Mostly family is whom I can vary. Non family, I could do the Elegant cards to send out😊Thank You So Much for this series!!❤
Thank you for doing this series. It is so helpful to watch the process of how you build each scene. I love both the sweet and whimsical as well as the elegant card styles.
I love them all, I can’t pick one style. I’m making extremely cutesy Christmas cards with Doodlebug paper and die cuts this week but every time I watch your videos I think about trying some of your ideas with the classic and elegant stamps in my stash. Love those edger dies.
OH, I didn't order the cardinal stamp, now I wish that I had!! I am in love with that card! What I love about your videos, Jill, is that you encourage us to shop our stash and really give great ideas for how to use much of what we have. In beautiful new ways! Thank you so much.
how could we even choose they are all so lovely. I love what I learn from you, Jill. The addition of the lightly sponged background and text is so perfect.
The edger dies are so unique. I love these and they're among some of my favorites of the Penny Black products. Today's cards are wonderful. I never get tired of watching PB&J series as Jill is my favorite designer and I'm in awe of her style! I prefer fun Christmas cards. I want people to smile when they open their mail! I apologize in advance but if I see another Poinsettia, either real or on a card, I'm going to eat razor blades (lol)! I've never been a fan of this flower and dread seeing them at Christmas (beyond burned out)! TFS your ideas Jill! You're always an inspiration!
Once again, Gayle, you have me laughing! I'm trying to remember if there are more poinsettias coming. LOL! I so look forward to your notes - thank you! :)
Thank you Jill for showing us more beautiful cards. I make over 50 cards and these would be easy to mass reproduce. I love to do elegant and cute and I go through my stamps to see what inspires me.
Toffee Crunch ink is sold out! Must be everyone ordering it after watching your awesome videos. I got my Edger Die Words in the mail yesterday along with my Masterpieces Made Simple. Tomorrow I plan to get started on some Christmas cards. So much inspiration from you and so many great ideas. I mostly make cute cards using traditional Christmas colors. I do have a few people on my list who only want religious themes so I usually make some of those. Thank you for sharing your wonderful ideas.
I have all the Christmas edger dies on order! Can't wait. I love more traditional Christmas and love, love, love to use your Masterpiece illustrations---especially the winter scenes.
I really love those elegant scenic stamps but I love the Whimsy of cute critters & teddies very much. I guess it depends on who you are sending the cards to
So gorgeous Jill. Love the way you add the extra details like the subtle inking or the text stamping - those small touches just finish them off perfectly. They're all beautiful but the more elegant images have my heart I think❤
I love all your cards and the steps you use to complete them. Your instructions are really informative and helpful. I think I finally realized where to get sketches from - myself. Every time I see a card that I think is designed beautifully, I will make a sketch into a notebook specifically used for sketches. (I love organizational videos and I love to organize.) I can't wait to get started on that little book and keep it next to me and my laptop. Thank you for your inspiration!
Hi Jill, I tend to make traditional styled Christmas cards and I never make the 'cute' type. I have never before appreciated how using a sketch can make thinking what to stamp easier. I am really enjoying this series and glad that there are still a few more videos to come. They are definitely building confidence in me. Thanks Jill. 💖
I have learned so much watching you. I don't have COPIC markers but I sure have a lot of distress ink refills. My preference usually leans toward "elegance", but even your little bears are elegantly cute!
Such beautiful cards! I love the cardinal one - we don’t have cardinals in the UK; our Christmas bird is the robin. I love traditional cards with snow and village scenes but I also like nativity cards too.
Love how you did the background on the cardinal card extend further out on the right side and did just a bit on the left side. And when you applied the toffee crunch over the top part of the birch tree, it just made it pop. So many ideas to remember, good thing we can go back and watch the You-tubes over and over again. Thanks again for sharing...I like sentimental Christmas cards the best...the ones that give a verse that truly tells the meaning of Christmas. Joy
I was wondering if the reinkers would stay on the palette for a while. Thanks for clearing that up for me! I would like to get one that has a see through cover, but some of them are pretty expensive. I'll keep looking! I enjoy these adorable cards; especially the sweet little bears! I'm a few days behind on watching these videos, but hope to catch up in the next day or two. They are so worth it!!!
I watched the birds and half of the flower but not the bears as they don't interest me! Lovely painting... so nice to have some tips as to the colours you use and to see the finished articles so thank you Jill 😊❤
I am not a "sketch" person but I am really enjoying this series and watching how you use the sketches with the different images, etc. Thanks so much for doing this. It's quite inspirational to me.
love how you used that sketch for all types of cards. for me it depends on my mood and who i'm making the card for. while I do a lot of similar cards I do try to personalize it somehow, color or image to make it not just complete mass producing.
I make a few Christmas cards using PB "cute" stamps (because I can't resist), bur mostly I make elegant cards or those with a true Christmas theme! Thanks again! Looking forward to the next video! I'm sure when this series ends, I'll be going back and viewing it again for tips and ideas!🥰
loved this even a year later 😂. I had just bought my first edger. I live watching you paint/watercolor. Im in a trance. Ive done this many times throughout the last twenty four years of cardmaking, watching you, kristina werner, sandy allnock, nicole spohr, etc. because of this I’ve acquired a stack of different watercolor paper three sets of watercorlor paints, BESIDES my 100 dye ink pads from five companies! this part is more frustrating than trying to get good at watercoloring! Everyone has their own preferences for both. My papers include: Ranger 118 weight distress distress, watercolor card stock, strathmore Bristol smooth surface 100 lb, bee paper company 140 lb cold press watercolor natural white, Canson arches cold pressed 140 lb watrcolor paper, and finally Canson mixed media 98 lb which feels much more flexible than the strathmore Bristol smooth only two pounds less weight. I dont get good results, and get annoyed at myself either too much water or not enough water. I have professional brushes in so many sizes from Blick. I have tried amalgam inks for no line coloring, and many soft tans and grays recommended by others. I just got the toffee crunch today. Now I want to understand the paper choice and what kind of pens are waterproof that you used for bird’s eyes. I have two brands alcohol markers and copic very fine detail black liners and markers. HELP ME make sense of all this please! I do this to relax and forget about work stress but then I get stressed overwhelmed by product options and not being able to do it when I attempt to. 😢
Thanks for watching and for your comment. My best advice is to spend time painting without any expectation about the finished product. Pick one paper and paint and use only that one for a while- limit your choices. The more time you spend painting, no matter what paper and type of watercolor paper, the happier you will be with your results. Maybe even try stamping the same image three times and paint it three times (or more). Each time it will get more and more relaxing. I've found my personal favorites for paper and paints and I just stick with those. I do share more info in this video th-cam.com/video/vnOrFIvf0WU/w-d-xo.htmlfeature=shared, but my best advice is that the more you paint and get comfortable with a small selection of paints/brushes/paper, the more relaxing and positive it will be. :)
My favorite was the one with the cardinals. 😊
Thanks, Deneen!
Love all of them, but especially the cardinals!
Thanks, Renee, love those happy cardinals, too. :)
Looking at this a second time around. I love everything Christmas! Beautiful, traditional, cute! All of it.
Thanks so much, Deborah!
@@PennyBlackInc Thank you! I made two cards from the Day 11 sketch. Posted on Instagram and tagged Penny Black.
Running over to see them now-- thanks, Deborah! @@deborahmccleary1998

Hi Edna, the colors used are listed in the TH-cam description box under "Other Supplies." :)
