I follow TA Outdoors, Joe Robinet, and Matthew Posa exclusively.i am 66 years old and disabled. I can’t walk but just a few feet with my canes or a walker. Camping is a thing from my past these days. You guys keep it real and alive for me. I especially like your camping videos in adverse conditions ( rain, snow, wind). Thanks for the entertainment. I’ll be watching.
You can tell a lot about a man by the way he treats his dog. I love seeing someone who genuinely considers their dog as a member of the family. Good on ya, Mikey.
Glad to hear someone else talks to their dog. My great Dane Bagheera (Baggy) and I chat a lot. No dog can drool a river like her at suppertime. But, in a quiet little whisper...shhh...I do give her samples of my supper. 👀.
I consider my cat a member of my family but I'll never be a weirdo who brings him to Walmart to annoy people or treat him over a human being. Some Dog people take chit too far.
My 7 year old Grandson wants you to know that he and his Grammy made a fort in our woods. We have fun making forts when he comes to stay. We love your videos of log cabin living 🙂
There's no more beautiful thing than the loving bond between a man and his dog !! What a beautiful animal !! You can tell how much he loves and trusts his Dad, and vice versa...so nice to see that trust...
Yeah, but I saw the wedding band on his finger so I’m guessing all of this is just for show and he doesn’t really live like this full time- what a let down.
@@byronpaul19 Dude, in the very video you're commenting this one he straight up said the dog never gets tired even when his wife and he take it on long hikes and talked about liking to eat that same meal when at home editing videos. What letdown is there? He never said he lives like this 100% of the time or that he was single. I think you need to check your expectations, friend. If he'd lived like this constantly then how would he have cheese, butter, and recording equipment, anyway?

We have 3 corgis in our home. We have had to say goodbye to a number of faithful corgis over the years past. Charles is currently our oldest male corgi and is my shadow - where I go, he goes. To lose such a companion must be heart breaking!? Time helps, but one never forgets such a faithful friend. Maybe in enough time another four legged companion will help fill the void?

I agree I made a post ripping on this guy when it was built saying you didnt use ANYTHING other than pallet boards even for the skeleton. Built it wood on dirt. Didnt even paint it.
@@TheDipset1233 The problem with wood on dirt is water can get into it and rot it within 2 years. Painting or sealing with polyurethane. Usually when youu bury wood you put it in concrete so it has a large surface area and heavy anchhor. Also sealing the wood. Some pallets have 3.5inchx3.5inch posts inside for steel (like in detroit where I am) Or at least use the 2x4's and patch 2 together for a long beam every 2ft. A skeleton is the frame. He should have used 2x4s to make 4 corner posts on the platform then connected them with a ring on top. Then doing smaller studs to attach the walls outer siding boards flat on the outside not stacked like shingles.... No way for heat to build. It had to be freezing in there. A Skeleton is the inner frame made from stronger boards. The pallet boards would make good flooring, outer siding and roofing if sealed with caulk or even stacked like he did on the walls as shingles. Instead he cheats and makes a sheet metal roof ignoring that the boards make perfect shingles, ignores a frame and builds little wall panels and nails them together with a 8 inch board on top and bottom. The roof was holding EVERYTHING from toppling over. He never moves in the cabin cause when he does it shakes the camera its made SO POORLY. I built more durable stuff 30ft in a tree when I was 12.
I am not a dog lover by any means of the word, but i can like a dog too. I never had a dog in my 59 years on this earth, but man you have a precious, precious animal there. I think I can love that animal you have there. Really man i can see how anyone can love that pup you have there.I know i don't have to say this but take very, very good care of Jaxx that you can. He truely is a TREASURE !!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm 62 but still kicking myself for not having a dog till 11 years ago. Terriers are willful and fun but you earn their love more tan any other dog. I was lucky my first dog was a Rat Terrier/ Chi mix :)
If you ever find yourself depressed and lonely my friend, get yourself a dog. I like females about 40lbs to 50 lbs , they don't have the testosterone of their male counterparts and therefore easier to train. Train them to walk with you without a leash, because when a dog is using its nose and brain on their own without a leash, the activity level in their brains is much higher and they are much happier, making your job easier. But acclimatize them to the leash for the city and towns if the law requires. You'd be amazed at how much more time you spend out of doors, meeting new people, having adventures. Remember to use the other dogs in your area to help train your dog. Often older dogs at the dog park will give you a helping hand by setting your dog straight about etiquette with short barks, low growls and small nips. As long as there's no rough stuff other dogs are great teachers. The truth of the matter is that your dog is family, and for most people they rank very high in the hierarchy. But don't be over protective, you want the dog to have character, and be able to get along with everyone, as long as you control the food and the walks there's never a need to be jealous if your dog likes the occasional friendship of other nice people, because once in a while you'll need someone you trust to look after your dog for a few days, and the more they're comfortable being with others, the better it is for the dogs mental well being. Get a dog...
I just want to say that I love all of your videos and they have inspired me to build myself a small get away cabin. I'm almost 60 years old and I'm having the time of my life. Thank you. Dwayne Stewart from Florida USA
Thought your cabin was too small the first couple videos, but its growing on me. It's really cozy in there, love the candles, the pine cones, and your stove is the best. Like the accessories, oven and water heater, really cool. My parents had a lake house when I was growing up. They sold it a few years ago. I really miss it, but your videos have showed me, you don't need too much, just a bit of land and I could build something nice like yours. It'd be even easier if i went to lumber yard. Anyway thanks for the videos, good show.
How can you resist feeding Jax . I'd crumble in a heartbeat. Look at those eyes . Of coarse Jax would watch the mice eat and wouldn't fit in a rabbit's hole. Adorable!!
Typical jacks..into everything, and everywhere...ready to stop or go when you are. Got two of the rascals myself. Great little companions. Nice to see u sharing a cosy old time together.
I sit at home 24/7 because I can't get a job. I love the cabin you built, wish I could build one here in America, but without buying land, I cannot just go out to the forest and build one to live in. I used to live in a different state, and used to go hiking and stuff all the time, but now I live in a desert in a city. I miss the outdoors. I'd be outdoors all the time if I could. Anyway, awesome cabin mate, I watched some of the building of it, it's really neat how you guys put it together. Thanks for these videos, they are very educational.
Watching you and Jax while I am chilling in a small temp shelter that I made a few days ago , but I’m making plans for a pallet shelter/cabin for myself and 2 cats Mc Mittens and Freckles !
I don't know why this has only come up on my suggestions, but this is such an absolutely beautiful cabin and soul calming atmosphere ❤ This reminds me of some of my happy and peaceful trips around the U.K. and sometimes travelling your home country can be the best! X
Not sure why 955 people Disliked this video... Jealousy? Fear of the woods? Lol. I on the other hand am super jealous of your setup. I grew up on a Farm, thousands of acres of land. I moved out to the city when I "Grew Up" but was never happy. Almost depressed. The noises and smells were and still are extremely annoying to me. So Injave been toying around with the idea of building a Cabin and Going off grid. Maybe not live in it all year considering I live in Canada and my winters can be hell in a house with power let alone a Pallet Cabin lol but I am interested in starting the journey. The videos I watch with you "Minimalists", you all seem so content and happy. To me it's worth a shot. Have that little place where you can just escape it all. Appreciate the video, hope the best for you and Jax.
Your videos are so relaxing for me to watch. I have a lot of stress in my life, but when I watch this, the stress just sort of washes away. Keep up the great work! 🙂
My own dog, Tycho, is watching with me and got a rather smug look on his face when you started saying"good boy". He obviously agrees that he is a good boy. LoL
Listen, fella, that could be made of toilet roll for it does not matter, that to me is paradise, that to me is what I would pray for in any afterlife, Bliss is an underrated word, that is Bliss, I see your affection for your little jaxx but my softness is for Rabbits, I have a House Rabbit and her name is Beatrix, she is spoiled Rotten and she reciprocates with affection, I have never understood people that much but animals are so amazing and we don't understand them enough, my family have always thought me odd, but I see I am not alone, That is not a log cabin, that is not a shed, It's Camelot. stay safe and happy mate .
Only found your channel 3 years too late but as a fellow UK guy! This what you do is an absolute dream to me! Always wanted to do what you do, I'll be doing this very soon especially in the winter to make it more challenging keep up the good work!🙏
Graham does not like to sleep out overnight. Do you UNDERSTAND people?? Enough already. Mike this little cabin is amazing and I would be as proud as a peacock to enjoy what you and your dad built. Enjoying the series and watch out for those dog farts. Pure poison, I know LOL. Keep the videos coming, I'm having a blast.
I love your Jack, Jax. I’m glad to see you let him sleep with you. My Jack is under the covers with me as I’m watching you guys. I realize this is a year old now, but this just came up under my suggested videos. Bread with butter for dinner, bread with butter at breakfast. Works for me. I would be sharing with my dog though. I can’t resist her. Enjoying your videos.
This really is heaven! Middle of nowhere with a Jack Russell. 👌Great video mate! I often go for long walks with my Jack Russell here in Norfolk but god what I wouldn't give to actually be able to get permission from a landowner for something like this.
Me encanta estos idas a los bosques. No entiendo nada pero es relajante el ambiente con sonidos de pajaritos , rodeado de naturaleza y en compañía de su perrito.
Sheila Outside!! He said he didn’t to avoid those comments saying “he’s shortening his dogs lifespan and all that” I’ve heard it a million times. 🤷🏻♂️ I wouldn’t be able to look at his dog and not give him some 😁 🥓
@go pro rottweilers "some dogs" =/= All dogs. Heck it doesn't even equal a lot of dogs. The guy knows his dog. He knows what it can handle. And the fact he feeds his dog biscuts indicates that the dog can handle grains and is not prone to coeliac like illnesses. Dogs are incredibly hardy animals. And since humans and dogs have been close companions for such an extraordinary long time, we have evolved togther basically. It's even fair to say that dogs have been eating bread, etc just as long as humans. And have evolved togther to handle such foods as what we have. Yes i know there are exemptions. We can eat chocolate without much concern while it's bad news for them. Or how they can have a belly full of raw chicken and be quite happy. While it'll be a quick trip to the hospital for us.
I have a Jack Russell Terrier, my bezzie mate. Anyone who has that special bond with their dog, knows how special that friendship is. Anyone out there who suffers from PTSD etc, need to get a dog.
nice little cabin you got there. i just found your channel , lots of interesting videos . I like your dog too . I have had two rat terriers in my life , I think the best dog on the face of the planet. They have the heart of a lion won't back down from nothing , big mouth and quit is not in their vocabulary . My last one was female , Dixie was her name I had her 20 years , I miss her so much . Thanks for sharing your videos . Warmest Regards Terry Lembke

Sweetest cutest little doggie ever🥺🥺
Dude spending the night in a hand-built cabin out of old pallets having a way better breakfast that I get at home XD
omg Jaxx is so cute
Husky ARMY your right he is amazing
And yet Mike called him a 'bugger; which is an insult because a bugger in England is a pedophile.
Katherine McChesney it doesn't at all!
well hello
Please more Videos with The Dog. Grüße from Germany 😊
Matt Dodaro, Aman to that brother!
Matt Dodaro, Aman to that brother!
+Matt Dodaro Notice 6 sausages in the pan, 4 on Mike's sandwiches? No worries of Jaxx being in good hands! 😁
Your pup must be thinking, "This is the BEST Doghouse EVER!!" LOL....I envy you ;-)
I just want to say that I love all of your videos and they have inspired me to build myself a small get away cabin.
Gotta love those Coffee Vibes!
l like your cabin, dog and lifestyle!
What a happy dog, he so at home. Love it amazing job!
I work 12 hours a day and your video soothes and relax me. Keep it up and don't stop. Thank you.
Smashing little dog that mate. Loyalty like nothing else on earth. Reminds me of my old guy who lived till he was 18. See my profile pic.
I love your dog! He deserves a bite of the good stuff.
I don't know what it is about this video but it's just so relaxing to watch I love it!!
I know everyone loves the bushcraft episodes but I like the cabin
Watching you and Jax while I am chilling in a small temp shelter that I made a few days ago , but I’m making plans for a pallet shelter/cabin for myself and 2 cats Mc Mittens and Freckles !
I don't know why this has only come up on my suggestions, but this is such an absolutely beautiful cabin and soul calming atmosphere ❤ This reminds me of some of my happy and peaceful trips around the U.K. and sometimes travelling your home country can be the best! X
Oi amigo eu sou escrita no meu canal
What a great dog!! Lovely, lovely, both, dog and this whole video are just great!
Aww Christ dude...give Jaxx a little bite of that!!! Your videos make me feel like i'm right there with you.
ikr poor jaxx was almost foaming at the mouth lol
@@mistermusic140 😂😂😂😂
He was licking his lips so I wouldn't worry
He is a good man who really take care of his little dog. Both of them are so pleased with themselves. All the best to them!.
Your videos are so relaxing for me to watch. I have a lot of stress in my life, but when I watch this, the stress just sort of washes away. Keep up the great work! 🙂
Really great vid😃I'm 13 and I really got into bushcraft because of this channel, also love your dad's channel as well.
Thanks Jasper, good to hear you are getting into the Bushcraft!
I haven't clicked on play yet, but I'm sensing it'll be great because I'm seeing Innis & Gunn on the table!
That's my go-to among ales. So lovely!
YOUR DOG IS SO CUTE!!!
Such a beautiful intro! Best wood pallet cabin I've ever seen.
You give this dog a good life. Nothing more to say. Haters go away.
Love how your cabin came out, and your dog. Enjoy.
Loved video as always! Dog is adorable! Countryside is beautiful! Keep up the great work!
I absolutely love Jaxx . He’s so good. Mike I can see how much you love that boy.
My own dog, Tycho, is watching with me and got a rather smug look on his face when you started saying"good boy". He obviously agrees that he is a good boy. LoL
He is!! Dog's are a blessing.
I was born in the country move to the city maintained work in the city but my heart lives in Deep Woods love your Channel.
i find you very successful
your lifestyle is very beautiful 👏🏻
I'm from Alberta Canada, and that is my faavvvorite beer as well. Good choice.!!
Rabbit's are dope too
Only found your channel 3 years too late but as a fellow UK guy!
Love your cabin n your dog you are very blessed
I love your Jack, Jax. I’m glad to see you let him sleep with you. My Jack is under the covers with me as I’m watching you guys. I realize this is a year old now, but this just came up under my suggested videos. Bread with butter for dinner, bread with butter at breakfast. Works for me. I would be sharing with my dog though. I can’t resist her. Enjoying your videos.
saralp1967 my daughter’s Jack Russell burrows under her covers & doesn’t come out till absolutely necessary
small town girl Yep, that sounds like my girl too. They’re so funny. Great companions.
This really is heaven! Middle of nowhere with a Jack Russell. 👌Great video mate! I often go for long walks with my Jack Russell here in Norfolk but god what I wouldn't give to actually be able to get permission from a landowner for something like this.
I'm not much of a camper or outdoorsman .. but it does seem that when you strip away everything else the little things are magnifyed and enjoyed more
GRIEFDRUMS
Middle of nowhere with a jack russel sounds like hekk
I think you are a good man. Of course, a good dog like yours brings you a happy life.
Me encanta estos idas a los bosques. No entiendo nada pero es relajante el ambiente con sonidos de pajaritos , rodeado de naturaleza y en compañía de su perrito.
We know you shared, we saw him licking his lips...lol
Sheila Outside!! He said he didn’t to avoid those comments saying “he’s shortening his dogs lifespan and all that” I’ve heard it a million times. 🤷🏻♂️ I wouldn’t be able to look at his dog and not give him some 😁 🥓
I´d consider that animal cruelty if he wouldnt share it.
@@UncleHam1337 that's not true some dogs have allergies to white bread and sausages and stuff like that.
@@wildwildItaly It was a joke.
Warmest Regards
Terry Lembke
