mixed double really is a very fun game to watch and play. and these commentators really gave very insightful comment about the game. and it somehow provides very good tactical know-how to the game.

The floor clearly is a hazard for all the players. Sending the top 8 players to play in a land mine is ridiculous. 1.5m in prize money but can't provide a safe environment for players??? How many players had slip and fall during this tournament. Arisa slipped after the match point. Thank goodness she didn't injure herself. Even Chen YuFei had to retire due to the slip and fall. The prize money I guess for some is good for the medical bill? Might as well play without the mat. Even wooden floor won't be this bad. Li Ning failed their quality control on this one. The shuttles were slow and horrible quality of the feathers. They seem to lose their shapes after a few rally. I wish no one else gets injured because of this. This will ruin the start of 2019 and we will be stuck with watching Jr games...

Not just this, their mandatory schedule by BWF been slowly killing the players too. They have to play more tournaments this year than ever before so of course they are more prone to injuries. Both LCW and LD have been talking about this since the new world tour format came out. Sadly, no one listen to them and now we get to see the full effect of injuries at the end of the year. Combine this with unsafe court condition, it is a guarantee injury.

@@justacomment4810 to be fair. There is a lot of tournaments going on. But you are not obligated to sign up for all of them. The old bwf format is too few too far apart. They just need to find a proper balance. I do agree some months are more crammed together. It is definitely not ideal.

Jack Lam I think there is a specific amount of tournament that BWF mandate top rank player to participate

@@justacomment4810 yes there is. If the move the event further apart to give the players time to recuperate. Then things should be fine.

Chan Peng Soon's smashes are not effective at all...Why can't he smash steeper by jumping up? His smashes are all too soft and too flat! He should be removed as he is lousy now...
