I love how songs from totally different albums and different eras just get massive and melt together once played live. At 60 years old, Metallica are still a powerhouse and not slowing down. Still riding the wave and not just living out of nostalgia. When you see them in concert you know you're gonna be there for a good time. ❤
1000000000000000.....% 🤘🤘🤘💙💛
Amen to that. I got to see them in Phoenix this year and I saw them in 1985 & 86’ and they keep rolling. They are amazing. I’m 57 and I will always be a fan. Thank you Metallica.

@@johntheisen6791damn I bet 85’ and 86’ were crazy shows! My first show was 00’ my dad took me on the 4th of July in Baltimore! He said you’ll see a thousand fireworks shows but you’ll only see something like Metallica a few times! and my 10th show was in Jersey this past august! Took my 8 year old daughter to her first concert ever that night and she still talks about how awesome it was! They’re really great and always give 100% from what I’ve seen, no signs of stopping!
@@NDB469 That’s awesome bro. Yes 85 & 86 were amazing. Got lucky enough to meet the band on the 86’ Master of Puppets tour. That was in Chicago at the Aragon Ballroom
A fucking classic....I love it. They should include more Load and Reload song on their tours
I'd love to hear 2 X 4 or The House That Jack Built
I was fortunate enough to see it with J.
Such a great song
They should not, but King Nothing is a cool 90's era song
They should include more tracks from Death magnetic
I'd love to hear Master of Puppets live
Dear, Metallica. I don't know how often y'all read your comment sections, but I wanted to thank you guys for getting me through a lot of troubles and pains I've experienced in the past year. I own almost all of your studio albums (including St. Anger), and I absolutely loved the release of 72 Seasons. Due to the loss of a loved one back in April 2023, 72 Seasons got me through the grief and misery. You all have my thanks for getting me through this year, and I hope y'all see this because Metallica means the world to me
- Your biggest fan Dom
This song is a gem, whoever's idea was to play it more often, Im glad you guys doing it
I listen everyday Metallica pays attention to chart metrics
It was probably the band's idea
True, but this album deserves to be play entirely someday (once they'll have played the entire AJFA album in a show!)
@@MoreAwsomeMetalyeah, I just want to see Eye Of The Beholder played live
@@Karol-bg9jh Anyone who saw Eye of the Beholder live is now an old dude. There is like 4 generations who wants to see this songs played live.
I think it's Ulrich who is blocking the process: it's the song he loathe the most among their discography (Whereas Hetfield on the other hand hates Escape).
Underrated song, love hearing this live.
The words alone! 🤘
that intro live is fucking wicked
I say this every time but Load and Reload are both so well-rounded, dark, moody. It's hard-edge enough to be heavy, but the emotional journey they take you on is indescribable. The production is impeccable from my standpoint. The mix in my opinion is some of the best they've ever done, much thanks to Bob. There are lots of kick ass tracks on both records. We need more of both records live at the minute, some tracks are just calling for James' vocals at the moment. We obviously need Outlaw & Bleeding Me but I'd love to hear some songs that have never been played such as Prince Charming and House That Jack Built. Still also dying for Where The Wild Things are!
Totally agree! The House that Jack Built would really work live here!
Fixxxer should be played someday.
@@gcabreu87It has been played live. 👍 They played it at their 40th anniversary show. Its on YT to see.👍
I’d love to hear Unforgiven II and Devils Dance live
@@philustratorprendergast9632 I just said it above, but House That Jack Built is a great song. It might be my favorite from that album. I think what kills people on this album is how much James went into his blues influences and others, and it wasn't just 200mph thrash. I've said it before: if you don't find any redeeming qualities in anything they have done since Justice then you are not a real fan of this band. You are a fan of a few albums they did, and that's where it ends. "Metallica ruined my childhood"...if they ruined your childhood then you have bigger problems. Because I got to listen to a lot of kickass music when I was younger and it was awesome.
I love how every city benefits from their concerts because they always donate to charity. In my hometown Amsterdam, The Netherlands, they gave to a shelter for domestic violence victims. I was so proud when I read about it. These guys rock on many, many levels!
That is so cool, I didn’t know that. Doesn’t really surprise me tho because they are class acts all the way.
Im from the Netherlands. I didnt even know they did that. Amazing
Hard and cold, bought and sold, a heart as hard as gold. Such a cool lyric.
James is an absolute word-smith! 🤘👌
It’s actually hot and cold, not hard and cold
PLAY MORE LOAD AND RELOAD!! Please.
Thank you Metallica for coming to St Louis on this tour!!!! It was a blast!
King nothing 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
I was there with my daughter! Loved every second of that weekend. Seen them 6 times. They just get better and better. Going to see them in this summer in Chicago.
Me to can’t wait
Load and Reload are fucking awesome! Love this song!
Metallica may be one of the few reasons if not THE reason for my trying to pick up and learn to play an electric guitar in the first place!
Same here
My wish is that I get to see this song live at least once. Easily my favorite song
I like it too. I call it Enter Sandman 2.
Careful what you wish...
Not saying it's a bad song, and I know people have different tastes: out of all Metallica songs, this doesn't strike me as an "easily favourite" song ... I have a hard time even stating a favourite album (I guess S&M, because I can cheat great songs from multiple albums in).
@@rhyswalsh4483 careful what you say...
This song I iconically remembered when I saw them in Nashville 1997. The whole damn arena went insane! It was a night I’ll never forget!
THEY PUT ME ON THEIR TH-cam ⁉️⁉️⁉️ i’m crying 2:48 😭😭
Are you the Power Trip guy or the Metallica shirt one ?
Yeah!!
Load, ReLoad and St. Anger rocks!!
Real st anger is underrated People don’t like it because Metallica was becoming Them again
And getting out of rehab
One of the best performances from them this year imo
Papa Het's voice just got even better as time goes. ❤️
James looks so good & healthy in these concerts! Not sure what he's up to but great to see him like this! 💪
0:01 is the most scariest sound with guitar ive ever heard \m/
This is one of my mothers favorite Metallica songs, and for most of the tour you either got The Memory Remains or King Nothing on Friday, but very rarely both, and we got The Memory Remains.
We were fully expecting to hear Dirty Window off St. Anger, since that's what was played the last several second nights, but out of nowhere I heard the intro, followed by the most excited yell I've ever heard out of a woman.
Thank you, Metallica, for a weekend my family will never forget 🤘
Beautiful. Jealous of the your mother’s surprise!
This was so fucking awesome to see live that wknd.
HELL YEAH🔥🔥🔥
Thank you Metallica 🙏 I was at both shows with my family in St Louis and you rocked that city! these great quality videos you are putting on here is a great reminder of that night. My 12 year old son was with me and it was fantastic watching him rock out and have a great time with the music I grew up on.what a great 2 nights keep them coming please!
I love this song 🤘🔥👑

I love you king👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑 ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
The heavy groove that the Load and Reload albums has is just awesome!
it is hard to believe I am 51 years old. Been listening to these dudes perform at a high level since before I was in junior high.
Agreed. Our age group don't have many acts left from our teen years. Glad Metallica is still kicking it. Last week saw both shows in Detroit and it was great. Few days prior, saw Depeche Mode, still kicking as in their 60's. Enjoy now before they hang it up.
@@locutus1126 You should go see RATT
This is my favorite
Wherever I may roam to become King Nothing
Goddamn they all sound GREAT this show. Rock on
Man newsted used to go crazy on this one. I miss this era. The 90s were awesome.
🔥🤘I fucking love this song !🤘🔥
I just love Load and ReLoad stuff. Especially live. 🤘👍👏🤘
Perfection!
Awesome! Classic!
timeless truth, and of course great riff and solo
Hugs from Portugal. 🇵🇹🤟🏻
Seeing this live was amazing.
THE BEST METAL BANDDD
That's the best I've heard it played live for a while 😊
Всегда получаю силу и энергию у Metallica💪
Это невероятный заряд 💥
Депрессия, уныние. Об этом знают только те, кто не слушает Metallica. Нам эти чувства не знакомы. Драйв, мощь и кайф - это Metallica!!! 🤘🤘🤘
Roberto what a sound
No bass no fucking man💪💪💪💪
I love how the crowd did the James "Uhh" in 3:10 , its fucking awesome
the solo was spot on as it was on the album, great job kirk!
Tight and heavy riff, the guitar snare at the start still gives me goosebumbs, james voice is amazing especially at the chorus
King everything Metallica !
🤘🔥🤘
James vocal is perfect Metallica you are the best.
Great performance! Had the time of my life at these concerts in St.Louis! Thank you Metallica for still showing up and rocking out after all these years🤘🏻 LEGENDS

One of my favs! ❤
Such a great concert.
I love Load and Reload so much. Always a good day when they play something from those albums. ❤
I remember listening to this album after getting it at a midnight release. This song came on and I instantly knew it had single written all over it.
I was at Best Buy that night!🤘🤘
& you break your crown 😎🤘
великая группа!
Love and respect for this band only gets bigger as I get older. They are with me for 30+ years. THANK YOU GUYS ❤️
Same for me. Discovered them when I was 11 while hearing Sad but True playing on a tape in a shop in 1992, and it really caught my ears.
When I was told that it was a band caught Metallica, I just wanted to listen more of their songs when this one felt so mean, heavy and dark.
I asked for the Black Album for my birthday a couple of weeks after, and I was in for the Metallica ride since then. The rest of the 90's was for me trying to save money to buy either Nintendo games or Heavy Metal and Hard rock albums, Metallica being generally prioritized.
I had RTL in 1994 and Load a couple of years after in 96, next one was Reload in 97 (my mom's neighbour bought it to me because I kept her young daughter when she was out at a party, and since the little girl vomited all her dinner and I had to clean it up, she felt like buying me a metal album in repair, and the latest one was out!), Then I bought Kill'em All & MOP to a metalhead friend who was done with Metallica after Load & Reload (which he hated), and sold those to me for nothing. Eventually in 1998, I bought AFJA while some friends offered me the Garage Inc for my birthday when I reached 18. Since then, I'm just on tracks with Metallica, though I did miss several cover songs they made on compilations albums here and there...
For a long time i was like "Iron Maiden is the best Metal band in the universe", but I'm not so sure now. Metallica is really aging well and most of their songs (like 75% of them) are just a total blast that never ages, while the 25% remaining are low average at worst...
They are lords of composition, and when I relisten to some of their songs I used to find forgettable even 10 or 12 years ago, I now find many interesting stuffs in those same songs.
Metallica is indeed aging very well... May they still live a long time!
@@MoreAwsomeMetal Great story.... Thank you 😃

Сколько же энергии у Джеймса! Мощно петь, одновременно жестикулировать. Класс.😃😁👏👍
Is it really necessary to write in language no one understands ? do you really get metallica and their lyrics if you don't understand English ?

The last "Notheeeeeeeennnnnnnnnnnnn" sounded like that old grit and rust hetfield from times past. Excellent!
I absolutely LOVE this band!! Never get tired of them! They always make any mood better!
I was there and this song absolutely blew me away! One of my favorites from the 2 nights.🤘🏻
