Yes for sure the beginning of Metallica going "commercial " on all us who were around for their first 4 albums (plus garage revisited, AM I Evil & Blitzkrieg etc). Once the Black album hit sales went astronomical but something was lost (really after Cliff died it started). They went from "thrash metal" to over produced offerings & even rock mixed with watery metal. Then when they cut their hair & came out with Load & Reload ...well, at least we still had Slayer & Anthrax, but everything changed, then grunge pretty much replaced metal at the top of the rock 🪨 🎸. But even still, no one was "bigger" than Metallica, that's for sure. Gotta hand it to them. Greatest metal band of all time, hands down. The "Zeppelin " of thrash. Apex was Master of Puppets & Justice for All Era. 🤘

Super Bowl LX is going to be taking place at Levi’s Stadium (the San Francisco 49ers home stadium) in February 2026. How cool would it be for them to play the Super Bowl halftime show in the city they’ve called home for so many years?
I was there both nights and the amount of noise and energy from the crowd and band was insane. My ears were ringing after the song finished. It was one of my favorite moment and im so glad i got to share it with my wife. Until next time Metallica 🤘🏼🤘🏼
Playing this song so far into their career just reminds me of the video in 94 where Hetfield tells a reporter he's tired of playing Sandman, and they turn to Jason who's about to agree with James and then says "actually I like everything, I'm not tired of it at all"
Its amazing how these guys can perform the exact same song hundreds if not thousands of times throughout their career and still have this much energy and enthusiasm every time
@@goldenwolf8081being able to play medium-fast single strokes for 10 seconds isn’t crazy. It’s the unevenness in his beats that make us all so disappointed in how he’s devolved as a drummer. Listen to the misplaced off-time kick drum at 3:10 for example. He should be significantly BETTER than he was 30 years ago, not somewhat worse. :(

Went to this concert. This was the last song of the show and it was fucking awesome. Lars did a speech right after the show about how they formed in California and threw his sweat rag into the audience 😂 all of them are pushing 60 and still making their shows amazing. God bless Metallica!
@ Yeah, it's really frustrating now 😂 Literally, the only other Metallica songs I WOULDN'T take over it are Hero of the Day, Now That We're Dead and Murder One. Everything else would be an upgrade.

JAMES' VOICE IS SO GOOD! He's able to hit the high note in the pre-chorus! His vocal range has never been better!
