None of them are interested anymore, especially with the writing which they used to head themselves but have mostly handed over to the writing team now. Respect to him for recognizing that the cashier doesn’t make the rules and not blowing up at her for his frustrations. I’ve encountered too many people who do that.

You could tell me this wasn’t always sunny and was a completely different show that featured Glenn and I’d absolutely believe you. Nothing about this feels like always sunny, from the aesthetic, to the camera lens, to the subject matter to the character.
One of the rarest instances where Dennis was in the right. There was no scheme too malicious to make the bar a success. No D.E.N.N.I.S. system or "The Implication" involved. He simply wanted to spend time away from all the troubles and get a day off. He managed to contain his rage for as long as possible, but when there was an obstacle, he did not blame anyone or ruin someone's life. It's simply the era he's living in that's evolved and the main boss behind the system. The most psychopathic member of the group was the reasonable one in this episode and it actually made you relate to him...and it was all in his head.
i started the watch the show and i'm still in the earlier seasons and it's hard to believe that this clip from iasip. the show is really evolving and capturing the modern life and comedy..
God I would kill to see the first 10 seasons for the first time again.. I literally ONLY watching Sunny reruns lol and the new seasons just don’t do it for me like the first 10 even 11 and 12 are watchable.. I just don’t like the last few unfortunately outside of a few episodes

yeah I'm surprised this is a real company (the company TH-cam page has a clip of this episode, but it's 10 seconds long and just shows Dennis ordering, and none of the other stuff) and that they'd let themselves look incompetent on TV. Most companies want to look good.
Although also hilarious, I find this whole episode infuriating. The absurdity of the current obsession with apps and making even the little things difficult makes me wanna be a hermit basically and not having to deal with that bullshit.
Can we make this a PSA? I tried ordering Ramen, and they said sit and use the app. I couldn't get reception because of the floors over the building. Instead of giving me a physical menu, when I hadn't ordered, they gave me extra time to get a signal... ... 2nd time they checked on me, they took my order in person... (The food was amazing, eventually. Otherwise the place would have burned down and I'd possibly be in jail, were I sloppy 😅)

Because simply putting vending machines would probably require hiring security instead of a cashier to regulate order. What you're tipping for is a warm, soft, bubbly human interaction vs intense staredown with the security guy. I'm honestly not a fan of either, but maybe if they put a hot female security guard that takes her job seriously and searches you thoroughly, just to maintain order and safety, you know...I'd definitely tip more often.
Tips on pad/machine aren’t going to who you think they are going to. You’re righteous feeling is wasted on the wrong person, the cashier is the lowest rung on the ladder. If you care so much about not tipping, then educate yourself on the fees point-of-sale systems are allowed to charge and the pressure small business owners are under to use those crap, unregulated, vastly disparate systems. Not to mention the unfair laws and contracts big businesses have that benefit them under-paying employees bc the state and federal system (your taxes) will provide the rest. TLDR; you aren’t the hero you think you are.

If the customer doesn’t want the small business to pull all these fancy backflips to stay afloat, the customer needs to pay attention to who is making them preform all these backflips. Hint: not the hourly wage worker at the counter. My message is for people who feel righteous about “defying tipping culture” like it’s the worker who created it.
