I'm from Louisiana, USA so I cook a little different but this sounds wonderful! The one thing that I would do differently is to brown the chicken first. Add to a very hot -almost smoking- oil. Once the chicken has a good brown, we would then add the vegetables. This looks amazing so we're going to try it tomorrow night with the wee tweak mentioned above. Ok Cheryl, I made this tonight along with garlic bread and WOW, we loved it. Very easy, and so yummy! Husband and I are so happy you shared this recipe. We will make it again.
Also nice with a tin of chopped tomatoes for the sauce instead of the milk. But the milk sauce can be halved and added cheese to make a cheese sauce topping

There were some ingredients that I didn't have - the mozzarella cheese, paprika (used turmeric instead) and used green beans in place of red pepper. I made it and shared on Instagram. I did not have tomato paste so I skipped that part. My sauce was thin so I just put the cheese into the sauce. I made one dish with the pasta for my husband and boys and I made one dish with spaghetti squash for me since I can’t eat pasta. Thanks for a great recipe this one is a keeper!

I grew up with OXO cubes and knew no other way. Then I discovered "Better than Boullion" here on TH-cam. If you ever get the chance - give it a try. It comes in a jar and looks like a paste or a thick jam type consistency but it is so fabulous that it has almost ruined me for the OXO cubes LOL Heather xo
