Incredibly valuable information! Thank you so much for not only giving ways to counter the strategy but explain why it counters the strategy and what that strategy doesn't want you to do. :)
One thing about split damage is that it allows the CYB player to either pitch 1 blue into 1 AB or 2 Blues into 4 AB and then follow up with CYB making it much easier to play around a its slightly awkard cost. Furthermore all of Arcane damage is inherently bad to fatigue as it does not remove the cards from opponents deck.
I think I would focus on trying to double aura a bunch until I have enough critical mass of shit on the board that I think I can pivot with an erudition als turn and take over after that
Fantastic video thank you! I’m wondering if a lot of the negative response is coming from more casual or newer players. I for instance have really only played Viserai. My Turtleburst was giving them way too much time and it felt insurmountable. Not everyone is a high level player or able to swap decks either due to time or money constraints. I was able to swap to aggro now and feel much better. Some people may only have that one deck and one popular hero/strategy could make yours feel unplayable.
I do if I have time I'm going to make a third video about cyb talking about that. Wasn't planning on making this many videos about it but its the talk of the town rn
@@pheano It really is! And it’s very nice to have a big name like you to help reign in the panic a bit with your level headed attitude towards it. Thanks for covering it so thoroughly! I always appreciate your takes on the game.
Played a count your blessings - Mirror Match - It was like the first 8 turns didn't matter - as we each boosted our health way above 40 - it was silly and took a long time.
The card is manageable... if you know it's coming. I think people are most upset at how anyone can be playing it and you can't be sure what style they will go for.
we have a lot of new players coming in from this set and last set. This happened prism, chane, starvo LL'd also where people didn't know how to play fab outside of high power fab.
Like how you don't even get pistol control Dash any credit cause that deck was a deck that answer fatigue strategies since they never lose any cards since they always pitch into the pistol and items
i literally had a bit at the end where i mention that board state set up decks are good into this. You can stone me for not specifically mentioning one deck. 🤡
You don’t need silver bullets. You touched on this pheano, but you need to stop thinking “ how can I do the most damage with this 4 or 5 card hand” and switch to “ what’s the most amount of damage my entire deck does” you have all the time in the world
Yes you need to know how to do that but not every deck can win that way and each cyb deck is different so you need to know every way you can win. But also I know a lot of people out there just want an easy fix so thats why I lead with silver bullets.
9:18 that math ain't mathing, you may pitch a car for it but that card isn't "spent" it's cycled as fatigue you are counting on your second cycle and blue cards have value specially in this type of strats, each count your blessings has a 6 value but if you want to use the pitch card into that consideration I don't think you are supposed to cut it in half specially since you have an extra resource floating at worst we could say each card has a 3 point value but on average it should be closer to 4 or 5
I cannot wait to sideboard in all of these cards to counter my opps life gain! Oh? What's that? They're not on CYB because I had no way of knowing prior? Guess I lose to these dead draws. 🤡
unlucky, though most of the silver bullet cards are pretty low commitment. The class ones are cards those decks already play and poison the well and gravekeeping are reasonable includes. Gravekeeping is just good rate in decks that it fits the cost curve and poison is just a blue.
Valuable content! Especially for someone like me who only started a short while ago.
glad it helped :)

Thanks for the CYB series. I love doing dumb stuff in tcgs, so it gets even better whe it can actually be playable
The one hat illusionst - love the consistency!
hey, I played lexi for pt3 and I almost played azalea at the last pt. I swerved to prism from azalea 3 days before leaving
Omg Fabled Academy! I miss your content!

Wel you only need ab 1 vs split damage decks but yes I agree.
I need a way to beat fatigue Florian as Prism when he cleares auras while pushing damage either with Runechants or Summer‘s Fall. Any guesses?

Also RATTLE BONES😅
Do you have any thoughts or feelings on the types of games CYB creates in terms of fun/interactive gameplay?

Get your poison the well copies asap.
Hope you have the sideboard slots to run them. Good luck assassins, we dont.

Kano has Negate!!!
CYB is frustating and boring. But, I have to say that my Rhinar mid-range is weirdly performing really well, and I might use it this PQ season.
thats honestly surprising i don't see how rhinar would line up well against this
@@pheano I mean, mid-range Rhinar using CYB.
