I always thought that bringing "balance to the force" should have meant the Jedi and the Sith realizing the necessity of the existence of the other I order for the universe to work. What Abaloth did with the Daughter and Son kind of illustrated that. Unfortunately this is lost in Legends.

Yet, she would not use it to reshape her own form, but to give it to that of her very last offspring. In those final moments she found again a kind of love amidst the pain and horror, and sacrificed herself for this one final birth, one final shape, which would take the form she had so prized. Violence the means by which she would maintain it. War the summons that would bring her back time and again. She would survive and triumph, for the galaxy was hers to rule, as it had been her mother’s."* *"Tilotny named her daughter Mourning, and it was only slightly altered in later times when her true nature became known and she was called by the Killiks the vain, evil one: Abeloth."*
I would love to see this in a movie/show. Getting to see more Master Luke, as well as maybe his adventures with Ben Solo instead of his son Ben. Perhaps the whole bit could originate with the destruction of Alderon
Abaloth must be inspired by the Ancient Babylonian goddess Tiamat, the mother dragon. The stories are almost identical. Tiamat gave birth to the world through her husband, the god Marduk. When her children, the gods, turned on Marduk and cut him to pieces with an axe, she stood by them because she valued them more than her husband. The only thing she cared about was her family’s love. But eventually they turned on her too. The betrayal made her go insane with rage and grief. She transformed into a giant dragon and tried to kill the children who had forsaken her. She was defeated and they tore her body up and it became the earth itself
The Fate of the Jedi series in which the majority of this content is from was amazing. To this date in my opinion the best series I ever read. I was actually upset waiting for the next book in real time back then. I even bought the books on cd and converted to files. With the added sound effects it made it 10x even more enjoyable. So yea, if Disney would pull their heads out of their backsides and create from those content....man that would be next level.
TH-cam recommend me one of your videos a while ago and I’ve been binging Clone Wars series for days now. I wonder what would the storyline for the galaxy looks like if Anakin stayed with the family and kept the Son in check. Also just realized maybe Qui Gon wasn’t so dumb after all perhaps he sensed that Anakin was destined to balance the force on that planet, but he wanted to stay with the Jedi and Padme so his fear lead to anger and so on.
It's odd. By having partaken in both a dark and light nexus of the Force, you'd think Abeloth would be a being that shows traits and uses powers of both sides of the Force, and dare I say constantly at conflict with herself over channeling two seemingly contradictory manifestations of the force. However, in her madness, she seemed to only draw up on the dark side of the Force to act and her malevolence and want to spread her suffering makes it seem she has rejected the light.
Usually I would make a “shes second in power next to the unlimited power of the senate!” Joke but Disney ruined it for me with, not one, but two lightsabers. Stupid!
IF Abeloth The Mother were considered Canonical in the mainstream SW Universe, she could be the main reason why Palpatine was able to return in the sequel Trilogy. That being said, I can also tie in that just as Anakin Skywalker is “The Son” of the Cosmic Force, Palpatine can also be the “Son” of Abeloth. Which explains why Palpatine is “All of The Sith” when he dueled against his clone granddaughter Rey.
A lot of people get this story wrong but you got all the facts straight. The only thing I might add is that to eventually stop abeloth, Luke and Darth krayt did need help from Jaina and leia by killer her avatar to weaken her
I propose her being introduced as a whisper to anyone that travels close to lure them, take their life/force to make her strong enough to pose a threat in the known Galaxy
Can we imagine if Valkorion or Palpatine drank from the Font of Power. The display would be awesome to behold!!! Would make for a durn good Stars Wars version of What If!!
I had an idea for a Star Wars series that (roughly summarized) beings together legendary people across the Star Wars Legends and Canon timelines to either converse or duel with one another. The beings hosting and making such reality defying stunts possible would be the powerful and mischievous Son and Daughter duo. The beings they want to know more about and have meet other people are "duplicated" and plucked out of their respective timelines and brought to a small pocket dimension to talk or battle. Some encounters I'd personally like to see are: - Darth Malgus & Darth Vader - Grand Master Luke Skywalker & Grand Master Satele Shan - Jango Fett & Cassus Fett - Grand Master Nomi Sunrider & Grand Master Yoda - Obi-Wan Kenobi & Exar Kun - Mace Windu & Ulic-Qel Droma - Count Dooku & Lana Beniko - Aleema Keto & Assajj Ventress - and a LOT more [sorry for Legends bias]
I hope it is something so simple as a "Legends to Canon" pull, like Abeloth. I feel there is a certain beauty to Abeloth, and very tragic back story. I just hope it isn't a possession story arc with Ezra. Also, still waiting for the send off of Baylon. Ray has made an impact, and can't be replaced.
Correction: Luke did not force the black hole to collapse on itself...he caused it to engulf the Vong tank emitting the black hole by moving the molecules around it causing it to act irratically. That’s actually mentioned in the legends. Luke theorized it’s probably the only thing that can kill her for good but he and the Jedi would have to spend their lives searching for it.
@@sloth_smasher1879not to mention the ones seem to be reincarnating entities maybe it takes away much of their power
5:51 wtf lol, what a shift in artwork lol
Abeloth, a poor broken woman who ruined herself and the galaxy for the chance to stay with her family... Just imagining how it must've been for her makes my eyes tear up and my throat crack and falter.. Just.. fuck.. Poor girl.. ;-;
If Abeloth gets canon and in the future films, imagine Insidious now that would be awesome and terrifying and really shows how powerful and horrific she is
I propose making Abeloth look like Kathleen Kennedy, because that would be perfect.
Makes sense.
It's such an insult to Abeloth😂
@@quickclaw240 To be fair Aboleth check underneath her bed for Kathleen Kennedy.
@@m3tr0id86 afraid what she might do to her amazing background story.😂
@@quickclaw240 Hense why she checks under her bed.
So basically, Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Ahsoka screwed everything up with their visit to Mortis. Those dummies were a menace! ;-)
j/k
Love seeing Star Wars content, keep it up!
I always thought that bringing "balance to the force" should have meant the Jedi and the Sith realizing the necessity of the existence of the other I order for the universe to work. What Abaloth did with the Daughter and Son kind of illustrated that. Unfortunately this is lost in Legends.
It's a shame that we never got anything beyond a novel with Abeloth. Either animated or live action content, I mean. You know. Something that moves.
Because dc is stuck in the imperium...we need someone with the audacity to move beyond that
Abeloth was great story telling but a missed opportunity for Star Wars to really embrace the psychological terror genre.
There’s still time.
Palpa, Nihilus and Vitiate check their beds whenever they go to bed.
Damn bruh could you imagine if, in like the 8th or maybe 9th movie, it was revealed that the big baddie behind the scenes was mo f**kin Abeloth?! Instead of ol' Palps? That woulda been soo so great.
The maw cluster was created to imprison her, correct? And that's interesting about center point station, never knew it was created to capture abeloth, just knew it was used during the war against the yuuzhan vong
Disney has consistently proven they can't make a decent star wars movie or show. Let alone portray a bad guy that isn't a cheesy, typical and boring character with no real arc or point. I wouldn't want to see them ruin this character
I would love to see her kind of behind the scenes influencing the emperor from a far pulling string... like thro her eyes an then she comes out full force after the last Skywalker... showing she's been alive alllllll this time...
Wow that was a really complicated story well explained & told. I love that Episode of The Clone Wars series when parts of this is actually shown. Once again, amazing video Mate! (Keep it up!)
Abeloth: Exists in Canon
Rey: How about no, I'm the only girl boss allowed here.
Abeloth: Understandable have a nice day. *dies*
Everyone knows how terrifying The High Ground can be.
ikr it one shot vader
Abeloth would for sure fit in with the Ahsoka series as Ahsoka often hangs out in the Mortis Gods’ realm. If she was in Episode 9 instead of Palpatine, Kylo Ren and Rey would have to fight her. However, Kylo Ren cannot turn back to the light side if they fought Abeloth instead of Palpatine.
I feel like she would fit better in Rey’s story post TROS
Great video. Great 9 book series (Fate of the Jedi) The Legendverse offers some great stories and would have been a better path for the sequels
Darth sidious will finally see how pure evil he really was to meet his match even he will be so scare of her
He will definitely be scared but I don’t think she’s more evil than him
Yeah she did have some love in her! At long he don’t cross her path and he will find out what it like to be Vader and mail
We’ll she’s a Goddess many would serve. If she was cannon she’d never be stopped. They’d have to make every sigh and Jedi into a hack like Superman to even come close to hindering her.
Excerpt from Supernatural Encounters:
*"Wutzek’s words repeated in Tilotny’s mind, and even as she was dying, she found a means in which to fulfill them and recover again a lost piece of her. Yet, she would not use it to reshape her own form, but to give it to that of her very last offspring. In those final moments she found again a kind of love amidst the pain and horror, and sacrificed herself for this one final birth, one final shape, which would take the form she had so prized. Into her beloved offspring’s mind, she implanted not only her beauty but the keys to her survival."*
*"The infant girl that emerged was beautiful, but stricken by the grief of her dying parent and overcome by the loneliness that followed, but always she kept her mother’s instructions deep within her mind: dissimulation, charm, and beauty would be the keys to her ascension. Violence the means by which she would maintain it. War the summons that would bring her back time and again. She would survive and triumph, for the galaxy was hers to rule, as it had been her mother’s."*
*"Tilotny named her daughter Mourning, and it was only slightly altered in later times when her true nature became known and she was called by the Killiks the vain, evil one: Abeloth."*
Wut
I think you left some grammar and other stuff out. It doesn't read smoothly.
Maybe there is a small percentage of inspiration but tbh it's two very different stories.
The Fate of the Jedi series in which the majority of this content is from was amazing. To this date in my opinion the best series I ever read. I was actually upset waiting for the next book in real time back then. I even bought the books on cd and converted to files. With the added sound effects it made it 10x even more enjoyable. So yea, if Disney would pull their heads out of their backsides and create from those content....man that would be next level.
i don't think it would be disney friendly by the way you described her...
We got close to seeing Abeloth in the Maw scene in Solo.
She couldn’t become canon without it ruining everything… canon characters are too weak to deal with something like that
Amazingly i was watching the abaloth video from 2yrs ago when this came up. Im sensing a star wars conspiracy
I’d stop her. I’m built different.
I doubt you even realize this but you sir are doing very important work
There is so much more to this universe it seems. Great video.
Would be amazing to see a trilogy about this
Or just 1 good film film. Maybe start there.
Or a "resurrected" Palpatine can be an avatar for her too...
"The MOST TERRIFYING and POWERFUL Entity In All of Star Wars"
Katherine Kennedy?
This series was my favorite series. I've read it at least 5 times.
What book is this from?
@@jasonluckett9187 it's from a series. It's called Fate of the Jedi. First book is called 'Outcast' I highly recommend them.
This is so cool and so fascinating who this creature is.
The Most Terrifying and Powerful Entity In All of Star Wars is Yoda on ketamine
She could've easily been a villain for like 6 movies, but disney and JJ went the easy cash way...
The fact that Disney had this at their disposal and decided to make the movies they did instead is gross
They should do a Star Wars horror series on the Unknown Regions. Of course, Disney could never allow something that brilliant to happen.
A lot of people get this story wrong but you got all the facts straight. The only thing I might add is that to eventually stop abeloth, Luke and Darth krayt did need help from Jaina and leia by killer her avatar to weaken her
Abeloth could be used to explain the clusterf**k that was Episode 9
😂
True man let's never mention ep 7 8 9 of star wars movies ever again. Abaloth enetity should force delte those 3 movies forever lol.
Abeloth
Eldritch horror mommy
Who’s here after Ahsoka Episode 8?
I originally thought that Snoke was an avatar of Abeloth. Missed yet another opportunity there, Disney.
That would have been awesome, and would have forgiven many sins from that film.
@@MysteriousStrangerVA Disney would have found a way to ruin it, so I'm glad that didn't happen.
@@taelim6599 Also true.
Would love to see her and Darth Sidious go head to head for ultimate power
Abeloth would oneshot him as would Luke at that point
Abeloth looks so scary........
😰
I propose her being introduced as a whisper to anyone that travels close to lure them, take their life/force to make her strong enough to pose a threat in the known Galaxy
Is there ever a light side version of these horrific monstrously over powered insane evil beings? It never seems like there is
The daughter was one
The dark is always more powerful. But you always end up paying for it.

Some encounters I'd personally like to see are:
- Darth Malgus & Darth Vader
- Grand Master Luke Skywalker & Grand Master Satele Shan
- Jango Fett & Cassus Fett
- Grand Master Nomi Sunrider & Grand Master Yoda
- Obi-Wan Kenobi & Exar Kun
- Mace Windu & Ulic-Qel Droma
- Count Dooku & Lana Beniko
- Aleema Keto & Assajj Ventress
- and a LOT more
[sorry for Legends bias]
Finally more legends content. The hell with Disney "canon"
5:57 Is the nopest f*cking image that ever noped on this channel... Thanks dude you can just rock me to sleep tonight...
I think she is tragic, i feel pity for her.
Abeloth is just lonely.
I’ll never consider Disney cannon, this is the real stories
Really makes you wonder if theres really much of a difference between the light and dark side.
5:53 why do you troll me with this meme? 😂
Can anyone do this just by drinking from some magical fountains?
Happy Friday everyone, let's go get it! Start the weekend right with some Star Wars🤙🏻
I feel like that should’ve been the last villain in the Sequels tbh🤦🏾
Entity: Rar!
Me: And what is your name dear?
I Abbalutely Abbaloth the Star Wars Universe, and also appreciated your storytelling very much:)
Keep it up! Way to go!
Sidious: I AM the Senate
Abeloth: Lol
Correction: Luke did not force the black hole to collapse on itself...he caused it to engulf the Vong tank emitting the black hole by moving the molecules around it causing it to act irratically. This feat also caused luke to need to rest as it took everything out of him. I belive this was on Dantooine during the initial wave of the invason.
