yr so great Dan and yr podcast makes me more than 10 % happier .. yr summary on what is said 'spot on ' as often with extra spunk like here about 'feeling better' a spot of sanity ..
I LOVE the Ten Percent Happier podcast. Dan’s smooth voice is relaxing, he interviews interesting guests, and he asks intuitive questions. I couldn’t listen past ten minutes because of Shannon’s unbearable use of the word, “like”. I wish someone on the production crew could have made her aware. Maybe these comments will help so she can improve her next interview. 🍀
@tenpercenthappier I think the point Shannon was making about balanced exercise corresponds to your point of intuitive eating. It's more about paying attention to your body. With something like say interval training we'll get the 80/20 balance naturally. There's certainly some value in stretching yourself aerobically but we don't need to push our bodies to damage. The balance of easy activity vs shocking the system must exist in complement - not always one or the other. That's the paradigm shift to occur.
listen to yr body Always if it feels good with the way you care for it as that is your duty respecting everything you do and feed it that your brain also also accepts as you also observe it's flow with awareness without obsessing on anything! 😅
i'm older than you both and in Japan they also discovered that walking 'fast and slow' for 3 mins each way works wonders on health ..3 times a week for abt 20 mins ' jaja 😅
Good lord Shannon! Listen to this podcast and count how many times you said “like”. It was unbelievable. I could not finish. Tried to find where I could comment on the podcast and saw you had done something on public speaking. Really?

I think it’s be great if Dan start episodes with a little introduction, few words about the show, the guest, why he thinks the topic is important.

totally agree: every other word was "like". And why all the laughing?
This episode should be renamed An Intense Peloton Critique
The two of them seemed to enjoy their chat... But there is very little of value in this episode. Useless...😢
I was disappointed in this episode - inarticulate guest who contradicted herself in the first 10 minutes.
What point(s) are you referencing?
This was horrible. She needs to stop using the word like, and raising her voice at every sentence. Nothing helpful ,
