Thanks for the safety equipments of these cars all the drivers walked away from all of the crashes and rolls. Filmed in official Motorsport events on a Motorsport circuits which are closed for the traffic. All the cars and drivers safety equipments have been checked before the event and all the cars have roll cages. All the drivers have official Motorsport licence. Some of the crashes are quite big ones, but all the drivers walked away from those.

Quite a few of these are 133s, too. Which were never seen in Italy or other markets, basically a bigger 126, there were a few in Finland.
95% these Fiat's are 133. I don't see any 126. 133 is very famous "jokkis" race car in Finland. Has been last 30 years.

I lived thru late 60s-early 70s American drag racing and nascar. There were some awsome races and equipment happening back then. This here racing is equally impressive. Congrats to all participants.

You Fins are way crazier on track than us Swedes, that barrierhopping beetle has been the only thing here ive ever seen in Sweden that can even compare to this x)

Small fiat with 1600 cc fiat or vw golf/passat engine on the back. 175 horsepower or so. So they do wheely very easily.

Actually none. It is not allowed to use motorcycle engines in these. Most of them use VW 1,6 liter inline 4 or the Fiat Twincam 1,6 liter because the displacement is limited to that if you use other than original motor in rear engine jokkis cars. But many of them have over 200hp at the crank and they weigh only 710kg so the power to weight ratio is crazy. Many of them do wheelies of the line even with narrow street tyres.

And the point is to keep the cars cheap so "everyone" can afford to tune a shitbox with a roll cage and safety fuel Tank.

I am surprised they can even find this many fiat 850 today. Where I live they have become quit rare.
Fiat 850 was relatively popular car here in Finland in it's days as well as fiat 133 ( and 127 too but that is not competitive due front engine).
Main reason for popularity was that it was sold by company named “Hankkija” which was also one of the largest retailers for agricultural machines in Finland. So you could buy tractor and car from the same place, and many farmers did that.
And when the car was older or there was some bigger or smaller issue they just pushed it in to the barn to wait something.. also scrapping the car cost some money back in the days. So those old barn finds race now on racing tracks :)

Well, Wreckfest is based on this sport. Its very popular in Finland (The origin of Jokkis) and Sweden, Norway and Denmark. A couple of tracks in Wreckfest are based on real tracks here in Scandinavia aswell. Aaremark is a good example!

Those 133 Seats were re-badged as Fiats to Finland markets because Fiat was better brand here back then.
Arent some of those cars our Polish Fiats 126p? Off course they have swapped engines judging by their sound and performance ;)
Those are mainly Fiat 133 and 850, and definitely not with their own engines :) There's been also some 126's but not many.

That's true, most of those are really tuned up... but still today those are called stock cars due history of the sport.

Many of them run in a very competetive 1600cc class where the rules are something like maximum 1600cc (obviously..) And think its only 8 valve engine with a single carburettor which basically means a Weber 45mm Dcoe. But you can be sure I will be corrected on this! Which I'm hoping to be👍😅
In Europe we've had these cheap cars for racing for decades. There are safety rules telling what you've got to have in a car for racing. There's a 1600ccm max - no turbos. There's a max price you can sell your car for. Getting the max - you've got to sell. That keeps the costs down - it's more or less an open class only restricted by volume and turbos. As long as it's relative safe for racing - more or less anything goes. You need a fuel cell, a roll cage and a race seat with a racing harness.... but no windows allowed as I remember.
