I'd like to speak to the manager about that race A result 😡 If you are using a MR car for that race I recommend turning counter steering assist on, it makes them a lot easier to handle. All in all looks like a good week with 3 solid races.
@@187Gameplan They got rid of my old trick, before you could knock the cones out the way in qualy/lap 1 and cheese a extra cars width of track limits 🙈
@@EmoDKTsuchiya Yeah the cones at the penultimate corner used to be right in line with the curb so you had to brush them out the way on lap 1 without hitting them hard enough to bounce into the gravel 😄
Great video as always Tidge. Have to say, chicane layout is miles better because at least you can get the better exit onto the straight than car ahead to go for the move. With no chicane you just get dirty air and some of the most boring races I've seen happened at this layout. To each their own I guess, you're probably the first player I heard say they love this track in general :)
Feels so underwhelming after the unrivaled action of Nurburgring with dynamic weather. Just makes we wanna join a league, but even that isn’t the same.
Didn't manage one win in race C last week. First race C win is already in the pocket now. (With the AMG) And a clean race even. Allthough i've been running with the C boys and girls cause the nordschleife has the tendency to induce rage quitting. 😂 Be back in B in no-time like this. The 15 laps are fine maybe a bit shirt with 1 minute laps, but didn't put some actual strategie in there. You have to pit, yeah well you do that when there is a lot of traffic around you, that's all the "strategie" you need. Needed choice between hard and medium tires and hard at least used once.and tyres x2 or 3 same as fuel.

Gr4 is just not that fun. It's either the Lambo or the Veyron as the metas. As always some people can drive others well but I just don't get why they can't balance Gr 4 any better.
Veyron? Huracan? 4C? NSX? No, in my case for Daily C at the short Glen I had 3 victories using Mazda3 and my two "worst" results were two 2nd places, I'm a beast at the Glen in both variants, also Mazda3 tyre wear is very good after 15 laps, not bad for a FF car, I like this track a lot, the next days I'll do a lot of meme races at Route X.
looks like Lemony also tapped the back quarter of plsdont which helped him bump into Hogston; that is my guess why they didn't stop; they were bumped into the other person in their perspective
Man, I wish they'd do a restructuring of the Group 4 class. It's the perfect amount of speed for close racing before the Meta is found, but hopeless to ever actually balance with 4 drivetrains. Reconfigure the class into 2 drivetrains like in Gr.3. Perhaps it's on their radar already for next game, but that's highly doubtful lol
On the title card for race C, the red dot on the track map starts out going clockwise, then when it hits the chicane, it goes back, anticlockwise. Huh?
When will they allow us to use our liveries in the Race A SSRX race?! It’s very annoying that we have to rent those cars! Race C looks fun, I’d even say the Corvette could be a good car of choice, sadly I don’t think the Alfa will work. I think the newest update killed the 4WD cars for good…

On the topic of divebombs, the move at 9:11 IMO should not be allowed because you were too far back from the guy in front. I know you state that it is a clean move because you were able to make the corner, but that is simply just one half of the requirement needed for a clean and respectable move. The other half is that you must have a reasonable overlap with the leading car. This requirement is there to ensure that both drivers understand that each have equal rights to an upcoming corner and there is no ambiguity or confusion about leaving space. Both requirements must be met in order for safe and clean racing. Please start promoting the other half of the requirement and clarify that unfortunately, even if you make the corner, if you did not have overlap with the leading car during corner entry, then you have no rights to the corner and forcing your nose into the apex will be considered as a divebomb. In my experience, confusion between what is and isn't a dive is the primary reason why drivers collide in these situation, and I think that a clear definition of what is and what isn't correct from influencers like you will lead to better racing for all. Hey Dabz! Responding now as this one caught my eye (Anyone else commenting I will be responding soon as I can). I think you're imagining the perfect world in my opinion. Let me explain, a slower car can never have the overlap entering a corner and so must use other strengths (Like braking) to overtake. The overlap is at the apex, anything before it is fair game and the person in front has the right to defend or take a line that they wish. If they brake earlier or take a normal line then the car behind can then take any real estate that is left. This is how the FIA see it with nearly all competition; formula 1, gt racing etc. I've talked to the FIA directly at live events who say this kind of move is absolutely fine, in fact they say (And I don't agree with this) you can run the other person to the edge of the track and it's still fine. We often see that in F1 to.

If you say that the overlap is at the apex because for slower cars, they will never have an overlap entering a corner, then this will only promote more chaos and confusion. Imagine if you are the lead car and the car behind does not have sufficient overlap before the braking zone, you are within your rights to hit your brake marker and turn in for the corner as you normally would. But wait, the guy behind you decides he will out brake you to the apex and make up the distance under braking. What usually happens next is, the lead car -- by the virtue of being ahead -- arrives first to the corner and slowly closes the door on the following car. Now, the dive into the apex by the following car will cause a collision because he no longer has the space that he thought would exist when he arrives at the apex. Closing the door on a following car that does not have sufficient overlap is perfectly legal and this is why divebombing is dangerous and discouraged. Once you commit to a dive, your only hope is that the leading car does not take his normal line to the apex. Also, there is rule that clearly states that it is the responsibility of the passing driver to make a safe and clean pass -- because it is unreasonable to ask for the leading driver to both look ahead into the corner (and likely another car ahead) and also keep a third eye on the mirrors. I think you are perhaps evaluating this mainly from the car that is trying to make the overtake and not considering the rights of the leading driver in these cases. A divebomb is a late, unexpected lunge into a corner where the lead car has to take sudden, unnecessary measures to avoid a collision. You know very well that entering the corner is arguably the most intense and consequential part of racing and everyone should be encouraged to avoid creating late and unexpected moves/situations. I'm not saying we should all drive around checking for overlaps, but there has to be a standard that allows all drivers to follow a set of rules that tries to limit chaos while pushing to the limit. That is why the rule of achieving an overlap entering the braking zone makes more sense than one that says overlap at the apex is what matters. Gauging whether one or both drivers have the rights to an upcoming corner is far simpler to assess entering the braking zone that trying to figure this out as you are trying to balance your car at the apex. Lot's of drivers differ in this opinion -- some even change their views depending on whether the are doing the passing or being passed Lol. Might be fun to see how others make sense here. It's such an important part of one's racecraft and it is perplexing why this subject is so unclear. As you also stated, some stewards at the highest level of motorsports also allow drivers to squeeze/run others off track -- now how is this fair for the driver who has worked so hard to achieve a credible overlap?

If someone does send it then either you should have defended (If they make the apex) or if they go to deep you stay out wide and cut back on them. There are many individuals in motorsports/FIA, please speak and listen to others that have clearly and consistently concluded that dive-bombs will be penalized. Divebombs are aggressive, late and desperate attempts that show no skill and for you to be promoting it seems a bit silly.
Hey Tigdney and all, I'm trying to make credits on the single player races but I now find it impossible to win now (gr3) the ai cars are faster than me now and can hold more fuel, if I use fuel map for extra laps they just disappear into the distance
Use a GR2 car and detune it to fit the GR3 class. Better grip, better fuel burn, and better chance at beating the AI. Balance fuel map after lap 1 to make sure you only have to pit once.
@waynefoster7246 yeah the new update makes trail braking a lot harder and it changed the BOP a lot so the same cars/settings I used for let's say WTC600 are now over the 600pp limit so I had to detune them again. It's very frustrating tbh
