Hi Wendy, Thank you for giving us a tour of your craft room. My husband has just finished building my craft room and I’m in the same situation with IKEA. My craft table and my shelving units was built by my husband and he redid some old storage cabinets for my mailing supplies, miscellaneous items, etc. I’m just waiting for things to get better so we can make a trip to IKEA to get the storage I need from them. Note for new demonstrators, start your organization methods as soon as you get your first order it will be a life saver in the future. Wendy, you have done a great job with your craft room. I can just picture it being a very serene room when you get finished with it. Thank you for the tour, you have given me some ideas to use in mine. Oh I love your desk, I would like something similar. Please take care and stay safe. ~Barbara
What an awesome studio. How nice to have it separated from your home but yet only a few steps away. I would love to have something like this. I’m currently using two out of four of my bedrooms for a craft room. When my son moved out I put a lot of things in his room that I don’t use on a regular basis. It’s just across the hall but I would like it to be in one area. Love your island, that would look good in my kitchen.
Hi Wendy. Thank you for inviting us into your studio. Even if it isn't complete yet, it is still so amazing!! Do you hold classes or group meetings in your studio, or do you have somewhere else for those events? I ask because I'm redesigning my space. Right now it's all conceptual, but I enjoy visiting other demonstrator sites to get ideas.
Great video. Have you tried moving the small timber drawers around in the timber unit? You could try runnng a candle along the "sticky" area on the timber drawers as well.
Nice job. I want a she sheer she’s shead. Haha like that commercial for State Farm, haha. I love love Stampin up. I’m a demo buyer. Very nice Wendy. There will always be change, that’s a constant. Great job and Happy hours in your new space...lin
Hi Wendy! I just found your channel and subscribed! I love what you have done in your new craft room so far! I'm moving into a new home soon, and I'm going to have my own scrapbook room for the first time! But, I don't have any furniture or anything else, so I'm looking for lots of ideas! Is your paper holder from Ikea? Your puppy is so cute! I have two golden retrievers!
Looks great. I must admit I'm a little jealous!! How do you organize your ink pads? It didn't look like they were by color family; that's how I have mine organized. This doesn't work too well for me and I'm looking for a better solution. I have my stamp pads in a stamp n storage unit and I have my cardstock in 2 ten drawer rolling carts. I've got 2 colors in each drawer and have the drawers numbered to correspond with the ink pads. I don't really like storing them by color family and would love to hear your method. Thanks!! Prayers of safety going up for your family.
To die for! You need to keep your hubs for building this for you and helping you elevate your business to the next level. Also great because even as disciplined as I know you are, you now can separate your home from your craft space. Awesome!
I love that you have your stamping studio...finally! It’s probably always going to be a work in progress 😂 so take your time. When I dedicated a spare bedroom for my stamping room, I purchased my storage from IKEA and Stamp n storage. Love them!
Congratulations on your new studio. Just out of curiosity, would you mind telling me the dimensions of the room? Some day perhaps I will be able to move out of our small, spare bedroom.
What a lovely space to craft in! It's such a shame You don't use Your Copics though, but having them out definitely gives Your room a nice, joyful rainbow feel 😊 Happy Crafting, stay safe & much love from out West! 💕
Brilliant video thank you. You're so l lucky to have such a room.I wish!! Boy what a lot of great organising ideas. We have Ikea in Australia but I don't think as many opinions I wish. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for sharing Wendy! I am interested on the dimensions of your room, as it looks similar to mine & may help me design my space better! Thanks in advance :)
How beautiful and loving all the light you seem to have there too!!! So happy for you. Good luck with it all. Love the island too - great idea. Can't wait to see what you create here - crafting mojo should be released big time here when you have this room!!! Hugs
It’s lovely! 🥰I’m setting up my first craft room and cannot wait to actually make something in it, then I’ll probably decide to move everything! LOL! FYI Ikea will deliver with a no-contact delivery service it just takes a couple weeks. It’s not expensive ($5-$10 up to $39 for a couch) I suggest one large order rather than several but you can still get your Ikea products now.
Wendy Cranford oh noooo! Sorry! It’s costing me just 10 bucks to get taller table legs, a floor lamp and a cabinet. 🤷🏼♀️sorry!! But check Craigslist...maybe you can get a used one 🤷🏼♀️good luck!!
What an amazing studio! One point of correction. The Tim Holtz ink blenders aren't horrible. You're ink blending on inappropriate cardstock if it's coming out streaky. Paper is everything with ink blending. My heart dropped when you said you never use your Copic. I'd trade anything in my craft room, BUT my Copic. I think it's really sad your MLM controls you like that. Those markers are incredible.
Hey Lynn, I've tried my blenders on Bristol cardstock and others. I actually think it just takes getting used to not applying too much pressure. That's where I see the issues. That and using a brand new sponge is never as smooth as a seasoned one. I do what to say my MLM doesn't control me. I can use Copics if I want to, even in videos. But I am not very good at them and don't' have time to practice because I am busy working and doing kits and stuff for classes. But there are no rules forcing me to not use them.
Your new space is amazing! I love seeing how you've arranged everything and the pieces you've used. What size is this space anyway? You definitely deserved this!
Actually, these are the perks of working really really hard for years. The money comes when you aren't lazy and you're willing to work super hard for something.

Beautiful craft room Wendy. Nicely organized! Thanks for the links. I didn't know Stamp N Storage had those cool drawer inserts!

Your new space is beautiful! Very inspiring! Thank you for sharing! Enjoy!
LOVE your stamping space!!!
Lovely space! Where did you get the gizmo that is holding all those Copics you don’t use? Not the cart itself but the holder in the cart.
Have you painted your stamp and storage units? It will look so nice painted.?
That was a great video! Love to see how you organize.
THE CANDY DRAWER!!!

Love your craft “she shed”❤️
How much do you take for a average card of yours?
So you do paper crafts and you use Young Living. Yay!

Lovely space. Is it an extension or she shed?
Extension of shed
Oh I love it all.
Great space.
Thanks for sharing this! I wish I had that much room because I sure need it for all my SU stuff 😂. My room is about half the size of yours.
Yes I do have a crimper. 😀
how do I purchase your catalog
I am happy to mail you a catalog you just have to complete this request form: www.123formbuilder.com/form-5403386/form
Jealous, we moved across state in August and my new craft room is smaller than I had and still looking for things as can't remember where I put stuff.
I use young living oils and that diffusser that you have
do you do classes
Fabulous. 🇬🇧
Did you have this room built?
My husband and long time friend who is a contractor built it for me.
I would say humidity for the sticking drawers but you are in the California desert...I think🤔
Thank you sharing
omg! I am glad you said that about the light reflecting, mine does the same and I am always like grrr....we look like aliens eyeballs.
What an amazing studio!

Sticky drawer fix. WAX yep it works

Is the door to the outside the only door?
