For those who don't know, In Venezuela literally everybody (more likely if they're under 40) calls each other gay and lesbian without it being an insult as if it was "dude" but still, generally, people are homophobic; only passive-aggressively. I've never understood why -I mean, we don't use those exact words but they're the f and d English equivalent for each term instead so there's a clue I guess.
Like saying: "Marico el que lo lea" but not really meaning that the person who read it is actually gay.

Doesn't take away for its importance it was just not a popular or nice place it (personally it makes it even better because the more marginalized people that were not even welcomed on the more acceptable places were the one that started the riots)

I pity the souls that have to hear Joanna sing. In all seriousness gays Latinos have very different fortunes depending where and in which socioeconomic state they are born and raised.
