I saw that Feureschwanz had a new upload. It is added to my list. I can say that I have another Feuerschwanz reaction coming up. Thank you for the heads up.
Thanx for doing this! You did pretty good! This was Skálmöld & the Icelandic Symphony Orchestra, They sing in Icelandic. As far I know Kvaðning means King. Yes, this was a one-off. The Symphony asked the band to do a show together, and not the other way round which is unique in own right. The whole show is available on Yootoob and well worth a watch. As for those shirts.. I have no idea, but I also think it's the fanclub.
Thank you my friend for confirming my pronunciation attempt and for the insight. I definitely want to check out more from them. Can you recommend other songs to check out? Thank you again!
@@MattsMoshPit1 I just saw Börn Loka is the name of their second album (The one released just before the Album with the symphony) other songs worth hearing, Baldur, Hel, Loki, Sleipnir, Gleipnir & Midgarðsormur. They also have a single with a cover of Alestorm's Drink.. And Alestorm covers Kvaðning. They sing about Norse Mythology obviously.. you can see that from the song names.
I'm a bit drunk, and not Icelandic, but I'll try to explain because I love Skàlmold. The band is Icelandic, play "Viking metal". Doesn't take much to get in touch with the Icelandic Symphony when the whole country is 380 000 people, but anyway, Skàlmold is greater than most, and such great guys😁
This was very enjoyable. I do love my orchestrations. A lot of the classical musicians looked like they were having a great time, so they must like it at least to some extent. You know that in my opinion a lot of classical music is super metal, so it's not a huge gap to bridge. Look into the Bright&Black project for a different take on the same thing. Not as a reaction request, I'm not sure if that would work well, but it's an interesting album to listen to, very intense. Also, I am not seeing things and there are three guitarists there, right? These guys are going Iron Maiden on us 😅 Can't help with pronunciation I'm afraid. I love the Nordic languages, I speak kinda basic Norwegian, but I run from Icelandic like my shoes are on fire. The really great thing about it is that it's the closest thing we have to Old Norse (what nordic people and vikings - and that is a profession, not an ethnicity - spoke in the middle ages) and it has barely changed in the last 1000ish years due to Iceland's remote and isolated location. All those texts that contain information about the Norse mythology have been preserved in Iceland, too. I had a professor once that spoke Icelandic. Trying to pronounce it was...not great. So I guess you butchered it, but so will a lot of other people.
In my opinion more bands should follow Maiden’s lead and get 3 guitarist 🤘. Iceland has always fascinated me. On one end I would love to live in a remote place, but then again It would be tough without all of the concert opportunities that I rely on. I guess that’s why I live where I live (outside of Washington DC far enough that I don’t have to deal with a big city, but close enough to see all of my favorite bands. They all come through DC. I wouldn’t mind going to Iceland for a visit, although I am not sure the food is for me, from what I have seen. Anyway I will definitely check out the Bright and black project and let you know what I thought. 🤞
I don't remember much about the food. It's one factor that would make me hesitate, cause I'm vegan, worst case scenario I'm not allowed to bring protein powder and peanuts AND I get nothing to eat there 😂 yes please do tell me your opinion! That was another preorder that took a month to reach me, but it is more than a worthy addition to my collection!
If I am correct the food involved a lot of fermented fish and stuff like that. I am not a fan of fish in general, so it’s not very appealing. If I am correct they have plenty for the vegetarians, so you would be fine. As far as Bright and Black go, I am listening to it now and love it. I need to go buy it now. Thank you. I also sent it to Chris from Eyes of the Nile ( my fav Maiden cover band). He was in the Navy Band and performs with the Washington Symphony. It’s funny he just shared a video of his drums for the symphony and you can see he sits on an Iron Maiden stool 🤘. So I am paying it forward as they say.
Really good!! If you can follow it live, it's certainly even more impressive!
By the way, Feuerschwanz uploaded their new video today.
I saw that Feureschwanz had a new upload. It is added to my list. I can say that I have another Feuerschwanz reaction coming up. Thank you for the heads up.
For the record, 'ð' is a voiced 'th', 'þ' is a voiceless 'th', 'á' is 'ow', 'o' is the 'o' in "fore, and 'ö' is the 'u' in "fur".
Thank you for the information on the pronunciation! 🤘

Thank you! I will check out your suggestions. It’s also cool to know what the shirts meant. Thank you
Thank you my friend for sharing.
No...Why do you think that ? Kvaðning means farewell and also calling out men for battle. Depends on the context, both meanings fit the lyrics.
Börn Loka is the name of their album that came out right before the pandemic.
🥰🥰🥰🇨🇦
Awesome, welcome back!!! Thank you for the insight.
@@MattsMoshPit1 I have been here all along. Just stopped commenting.❤️
Thank you, I am glad you are still with me.
@@MattsMoshPit1 Thank you but I am not the type to give up a great reactor just because a few Otyken fans were having a bad day.😂👍
Also the guys wearing the "Börn Loka" t-shirts are the male choir that started in the end of the song.

@@MattsMoshPit1so cool about Chris, hope he likes it! 🤘
He is going to check it out. He suggested a book called From Metal to Mozart. Apparently it was pretty helpful in his own path.
Great video. Check out "Hel" by Skálmöld from the same concert.
Awesome, thank you! I have added it to my list.
I'm from Iceland. You did good.
Greetings! Thank you for your support
Good choice of music, something that maybe not everyone has heard, I like!
Thank you my friend. Please let me know if anything else I should check out. Thank you for watching 🤘
I am from Iceland. Their album name is börn loka. That means children of loka. Loki is one of sons the God Odin.
Awesome, thank you my friend for explaining that. More importantly thank you for watching 🤘
You did well
From Iceland 🇮🇸 I know you put the second name as a joke
Thank you for the support my friend 🤘
Börn Loka means Loki´s Children
Thank you for clarifying and for watching
Kvaðning means calling
Thank you my friend
for all which dont know this is an old viking war song and every icelandic person knows the text its a singalong!!!
Thank you for the clarification and for watching
Absoloutely not, this is just a song that Skálmöld created in 2009
Still pretty much a singalong. 😛 Hel, there are little old women past 80 that headbang to it.
This was not one thing. I think it was 4 times
Thank you for sharing 🤘
