    This trick saves the day for me. It was a rough night, lots of order. And then a group of customer came in, they hungry, and they did not have much patience to wait for pizza. So I make it, as fast as I can. Unfortunately, I stretch the dough too much and there's a hole in it.
    So glad I remember that I watched this video many weeks before, so I slipped a basil under the dough, bake it, aaaand.. woohoo! It turns out good! I am happy. The customers are happy. They even order one more pizza to be taken home.

    A huge thank you for making this video! I just was making pizzas the other day for an event and had limited amounts left and your advice on how to fix a hole before the sauce is on fixed it perfectly and the pizza came out great! THANK YOU!

    Videos have come a long ways. Love your channel! Thanks for all the lessons. Miss the pizzas we ate in Italy. Its not close to what we ate there but we are enjoying cooking it at home.

    I personally use the basicol open the pizza covering the hole and putting up a bit mozzarella to save the hole and dont let see the "reparature" on top! Try both the sistem important its to save the piza! :D thanks Vito, one of the best on TH-cam!!

    Hi Vito how come your pizza dough looks thin at the edges but then in the oven it gets all puffy 😍😋 i love it.

    I would lightly wet the area around the hole and patch it with a piece of dough, or wet the insides of the hole and squeese the dough together with my finger and thumb, then press it flat. Place cheese over the top and no basil needed which looks odd to a customer.
