So we got a new tv today, and I hope you’ll be honored that this video was the very first thing we watched!! The drinks here look really delicious, and not too horribly priced! Cabinet of Curiosities is probably going to need to go on our list too- it reminds me of Borgin & Burkes in Knockturn Alley at universal studios 😍
There were definitely some Wizarding World vibes here, but what I really liked inside The Lock was the mini projector putting on old black and white short films and trivia. And while they did ask us not to film them making cocktails (so we did not and also stayed minimal on the B-Roll at their request), The Lock is definitely a fun experience and the cocktails were so GOOD. Also… Yay for a new TV 🎉🎉🎉 -Paul
Thank you so much Steven! We really appreciate it! Know that it will go right back into the budget for our upcoming trip in just a few weeks. You’ve got another shout out coming your way in the next episode. -James
Thank you so much for the kind words! We’re so glad that you’re enjoying the channel, and we really appreciate the continued support. Thanks again! -James
Debbie and I love the Cabinet. We did the speakeasy which I found a lot of fun. My personal drink was very good. Debbie liked the drinks but thought they were overpriced so we probably wont' go back, but I would totally recommend it to check out.
That’s about my thoughts on The Lock. It was a great experience and I am a huge fan of the custom cocktails, but… it was a bit pricey and at a minimum of $25 per cocktail with a 2 drink minimum, you are looking at at least $100 or more out the door before tax and tip for two people. -Paul
Wow! This is really a trip! I never thought that I would see all those knick knacks or a red brick interior on the Strip. I am just an LV Novice at best. So, what do I know? I'm so happy that the personal drinks and all the drinks were successful! See you tomorrow and thanks!
We definitely have been wanting to do The Lock for a while, but as far as the Cabinet. It’s a fun bar and a bit unique. I really love how cool the cocktails are, but the gimmick of the secret menu cocktail, I am a HUGE fan. It was so cool and I was surprised by how much they just had that sixth sense to know I love Cucumber drinks. -Paul
Another awesome review and coverage. All the drinks sounded lovely and think it’s so cool that they curate drinks based on a questionnaire. And appreciate that you included all the price points✌🏼🫶🏼🍹
Thank you guys! We’re glad you enjoyed the video! We really had a great time filming this one, and it definitely falls into the category of “Places we wish we could visit again soon”. Both the Cabinet of Curiosities and The Lock are so creative and fun. For fans of the unique and sometimes strange, I say they’re both a must visit. Plus the drinks are so good. -James
That's a fantastic looking place. Everytime we go to play mini golf across the hall, I always look at the displays in fascination of all the unique things they have. Those drinks looked great and I definitely want to try it out. 😊
This place was amazing. Pricey, but amazing, but I will say $18 for a signature cocktail inside the cabinet of curiosities wasn’t too bad. The Lock… now those $25 cocktails were good, but they were a bit on the pricier side. My favorite though was the custom and secret cocktail. That’s a gimmick I could totally get behind. How is that mini golf? Despite staying there at the Horseshoe and going to the horseshoe many times, we haven’t done it yet. -Paul
@JamesandPaulTryitAll it's a glow in the dark mini golf a 50's syfy noir feel to it. It's nothing special, but our son, who's also named James, absolutely loves it lol. It's a good escape from the Vegas heat during the hotter months.
You are quite welcome, my friend. I highly recommend a stop in at The Cabinet of Curiosities if not the Lock as well. While we didn’t try the mocktails, if they’re anywhere near as tasty as the cocktails, you’re in for a treat. Plus the vibe is so much fun. Thanks for watching! -James
I know, right. That was the highlight of it all. TBH, when James came up with the idea for us to do this I kinda forgot about the secret cocktail gimmick until we sat down there and so I was quite surprised by that. I also was wracking my brain trying to figure out how they knew I LOVED Cucumber 🥒 in a drink. -Paul
Nice video, I like the cocktail set up. My hubby will have the mocktail and I will have something with strawberry's. Fancy drinks look so beautiful. Tara
They definitely put a lot of care into how aesthetically pleasing the cocktails look. There’s something to be said about the big hunk of sage that was hanging out of the glass, despite how not really that functional it was. While pricey, it is a fun experience and a great way to do something a but unique on a Vegas trip. -Paul
Back in the day ( and yes, I'm that old ) in the 70s and 80s we would go to Vegas and drinks were at best $3.00 at the bar, still a $1 tip however for the waitress dressed I'd practically nothing. I think speak easy are new but I'm not sure. Las Vegas is so expensive now and it seems they nickel and dime you with everyone having a tip jar. Yet, we still go back looking for those elden days I'm so glad you had fun. Tara See you in Dec.
Thank you so very much for reviewing this place. We have it on our bucket list and are planning to visit it every time we're in Vegas. But every time, we end up with something else🙈 Cheers from another Aquarius here, January 30th 😉
Thanks for pointing out that they have a mocktail program! It's great to know, as I want to drink zero-proof, yet ridiculously overpriced drinks so I can be like the rest of Vegas! 🤪😂
In addition to mocktail options and the expansive list of cocktails they also offer mixology classes. It’s a really cool and unique place and actually quite chill and relaxing. While pricey, it’s definitely a fun experience. -Paul
It's rather amusing that it looks like the 1920s inside but they want you to scan a QR code! Paul, you must have been drunk. You said 🥒cucumber so many times! 😆
I didn’t catch it (even when editing), but we did each have a cocktail at Jack Binion’s Steak prior to making this video and by the time the secret cucumber cocktail came out that would have put me at least 3 cocktails in before that one so I likely was feeling it. The craziest thing is that when filming this, I still remember everything and felt pretty normal. But that’s also the fun of Vegas so it just comes with the territory and I do hope you enjoyed this one and learned a bit more about this hidden gem. We have been wanting to dedicate a whole video to this one since we filmed that “Winner Picks Dinner” episode. Thanks for watching and we do hope you were at least entertained and informed. -Paul

Another great video. This is something I definitely would try. Thanks guys❤❤
I definitely think that if you love craft cocktails and just want to try a fun speakeasy style experience, this is a really great option.

Oh ok good, I have a mocktail option in Vegas that appeals to me. Thank you gentlemen for another banger!
