I subscribe to 5 or 6 Vegas travel channels. I discovered you about a month ago, and you gents have become my favorite -cannot wait for the next episode - channel. Your reviews are always excellent, honest, to the point, and relatable. You reflect what matters, and I have discovered new things about Vegas watching you. Being a foodie myself, I love your take on the restaurants. So informative and useful and fun. Your subscriber count does not reflect the quality and enjoyability of your efforts. Hope to see it soar soon. Best to you, and keep up the fun.
Thank you so much for the lovely comment and we are grateful to hear that the content has had an impact on your Vegas trips. This has been a year of self learning a whole new skill set (editing, filming, reviewing, etc.) so it’s great to hear that the hard work is being noticed and seen. As fellow foodies we love dining and we love food so we try to seek out places that offer something unique whenever we can. Our goal is to be honest with our impressions, even when opinions in matters of taste can always differ (for example: we are team Bacchanal versus team Wynn - but the reason why will be in an upcoming video). Because frankly, as foodies, we would rather be honest if a place is good or not. The downside though to having this channel is that we don’t get to repeat the good places often enough 😂😂😂 Thank you again for the positive feedback and we hope you will enjoy what we have coming in the next few weeks. We will be back to Vegas in December to film more and will also be doing another Gordon Ramsay restaurant as well on that trip so another Ramsay restaurant will be covered in the future. -Paul
I can still taste that short rib! We somehow got a 5:00 reservation on the first day of my first trip back in March, and we got the corner table! Hells Kitchen was hands down one of the most memorable meals I’ve had in my life, and my husbands too. We got the foie gras and lobster risotto, but other than the starters we got the exact same meal as you guys! I love this video so much!!
Thanks Brittany! We’re so happy that you enjoyed the video. Hell’s Kitchen really is a one of a kind experience for fans of Chef Ramsay, and we can absolutely say that it was a memorable experience for us as well. The food is top notch, and the service is stellar. We debated both the foie gras and lobster risotto, so maybe we’ll have to check them out if we go back (which I’m sure we will someday). I hope you and your husband have a great week! Thanks as always for your support. We really appreciate it. -James
@@TaraFlintHollins it was an amazing experience, but it was absolutely a high price considering that you can find similar quality food elsewhere on the strip for less. Not much less… but less. -James
We really enjoyed Hells Kitchen! It’s such a mad house in there but it’s even more impressive they are able to crank out such consistently good food at such a high volume. Love it! Great video guys!
Thanks so much! You’re absolutely right! It was consistently jamming in there from the moment they opened the doors. I can only imagine what it must be like to work there. I imagine there’s rarely ever a moment to catch your breath. -James
Good Morning Guys! Thank you for the reasonable, transparent and entertaining review. 1 I was offended by the $6.99 Iced Tea. Perhaps I am stuck in 2019 or even 2015? Please lmk. 2 For all of the other prices: It is what it is. That is the going rate. 3 How were the acoustics in there? If a place is packed, I don't mind yelling to have a conversation. Unfortunately, some places are just built to be LOUD. BTW- You guys were NOT yelling in the video. I was just being hypothetical.
Yeah… $6.99 is a bit for a soft drink or iced tea. But… if I recall they did refill it for James so I am a bit more forgiving on that (versus the $8 bottle of Coke at the Luchini pizza stand in our MGM video). Sadly, with the strip always getting more and more expensive, that’s not out of the realm in prices for soft drinks at a finer dining restaurant and that factors into the going rate for the items on the menu. As we said at the end of the video, for us it was a one and done for the fact that while we felt the price fit the menu items, there’s so many options on the strip at similar price points and the level of competition for dining is real. This is a great option if you are a fan of the show and/or just want to try the Wellington and Sticky Toffee Pudding as the restaurant is an attraction. As far as acoustics… it was loud in there. We had noise canceling on our mics. And I tried everything I could in our editing software to try and get rid of as much background noise as possible but you have music playing, people talking, servers serving, and it’s busy so it can be a loud restaurant. But not “DJ playing EDM in the middle of the restaurant” loud like other places in Vegas. Thanks for watching and the comment ❤️ -Paul
James is perfectly OK (though we are both sadly fighting off a flu and trying to get the usual videos out so it’s been a challenge this week). As we mentioned in this video we definitely would recommend this place if it fits within your budget. There is the caveat that you can find comparable options at a similar price point on the rest of the strip and while everything was executed perfectly, this experience is definitely a very tourist heavy experience where the restaurant itself is the attraction. Though if you decide to visit and eat here. Sticky Toffee Pudding is a must, and at least one person needs to order that Wellington… those are the two items that he is known for. Thanks for watching and the comment ❤️ -Paul
I have reservations for Our 35 year wedding anniversary so I think it's going to be alright. Thank you guys , great video as always, Thank you James, Thank you Paul.
You’re very welcome. And we do hope you enjoy this restaurant. For us the stand out items were the Wellington and the Sticky Toffee Pudding. Those are the two items he is known for. But I can say that everything we tried was well executed so we hope you have a great meal on your upcoming trip. -Paul
Thanks for the video. Debbie and I have our super expensive meal planned so we won't be going here in our next trip but I know we'll be back so we might have to put it on our itinerary for that trip. We're also still a little mad they closed Serendipity 3, which is where the Gordon Ramsay's restaurant is now. Their Frozen Hot Chocolate was amazing. :)
I have always wanted to try Serendipity 3 after seeing that Frozen Hot Chocolate on The Travel Channel years ago. While I would never be able to afford that $1000 Ice Cream Sundae, the whole Gold Wrapped gimmick did look great on TV. But that being said, we do hope that you have a great meal wherever you choose to dine on the next trip. While we would never say not to do Hell’s Kitchen, we do stand by our thoughts that for the same price point there are so many options on the Strip. And while nothing that we ordered was bad or did not fit the price point, there are so many places that offer just as good, if not a better option for a similar price point. We do recommend trying it for the fact that if you do love Beef Wellington, or are a fan of the show, the experience is very much akin to being the “customers” having fine dining on his show. So the restaurant in itself is an attraction and if you want “The Gordon Ramsay” experience, then it’s definitely worth checking out. Thanks for watching and the comment ❤️ -Paul
As fans of Hell's Kitchen - and you guys 😃- my son and I loved your review. It looks like something you'd go to once, for the experience. I like the little touches like the funny note from Gordon and the cute pitchfork instead of a toothpick. Everyone raves about the sticky toffee pudding. I wonder if they have a minimum spend for lunch (or if we could just get a drink and dessert). Great job, guys!
Thank you! We’re so happy to hear that you both enjoyed this one. Hell’s Kitchen is definitely a one and done type of experience. Worth it for fans of Chef Ramsay, but there is definitely a bit of an up charge that comes with his name. Not saying that other high end restaurants in Vegas are much better though. I don’t know about the minimum spend, but I’ll try and find out. I imagine that it may be doable at their bar area but not sure on that either. -James
Great video, guys❤. We all definitely need to step out of our comfort zone and try new things. I remember when my husband and I were in Myrtle Beach many, many years ago. He is strictly meat and potatoes. I saw shrimp and grits on a menu. I love both items, but at that time, I had never thought to eat them together. Best thing I did. I need to expand further and am willing to do so. Live, Love, laugh, eat, and be merry 😂❤🥂❤
That is so great to hear ❤️ I wish I didn’t have that mild shrimp allergy because Shrimp and Grits are so good (and easy to make at home) - Sometimes just seeing something new and going for it is the best way to do things. One thing James and I love are meals like last weeks KBBQ video where it’s AYCE, or a Chefs Table type of experience where you tell the server your allergies and then just have them bring out random items or have them make you dishes at random. If there is one thing that I want to promote when I can in videos, it’s to try new things because life is too short for boring food. -Paul
This was a nice honest video. When my husband Max and I went to Gordon Ramsay in Atlantic City, we found it to be very over rated. It was just okay. I have reserved the buffet in Vegas for the 22nd of December and feel it would be a better deal than Ramsey's. I been to the buffet before but found it somewhat disappointing because my friend grumbled through the entire meal. Hopefully my husband will enjoy it. I am reserved for 12:15 and hopefully you can join us. Our treat of course. I need to use up my $500 7 star dinner. Tara
We have heard that Hell’s Kitchen can be hit or miss depending on the consumer and after doing it I can definitely see why. While we felt it was worth the price for what we got, we are not ashamed at saying that for a similar price point you have so many options to choose from that may also be better (We absolutely loved Mr. Chow also at Caesars Palace and the price point was similar). As for a better value, we are HUGE fans of the Bachannal Buffet (we had our wedding dinner there with all our guests so it holds a special place in our heart), and we do hope that you and your husband have an Amazing experience there. Thank you so much for the invite and we are very humbled that you have opened that invite to us, however we have every meal planned out for our December trip and Bachannal can be very rich and filling so we sadly will not have the stomach space to fit that into our visit, so we really appreciate the invite but will have to politely decline. That being said, we do have some AMAZING dining booked for that trip that will come out in future videos on the channel. One of which includes another Gordon Ramsay restaurant as we plan to start ticking those off the list with the long term goal of eventually trying them all. Thank you for watching and for the comment and again we really hope you enjoy Bacchanal. There are SO many stations and options there. -Paul

And thanks for the compliment, we are glad to hear that this was informative and helpful ❤️ -Paul
Great video. As a gin fan that cocktail looked delicious. For us it's a little bit out of our range, but we did one time eat Gordon's other restaurant inside Cesears and had the delicious Sticky Toffee dessert.

When I dined there I had the prix fixed which came with the wellington and sticky toffee pudding and an appetizer (I had the scallops) and it wasn't much more than the cost of the wellington alone - ao that may be a way to lower the bill a bit

When I dined there I had the prix fixed which came with the wellington and sticky toffee pudding and an appetizer (I had the scallops) and it wasn't much more than the cost of the wellington alone - ao that may be a way to lower the bill a bit
The prix fixe menu definitely seems to be the way to go if you are wanting to experience the most popular items.
The Wellington is a solid one too. Worth the cost.
Thanks for taking the time to comment. We appreciate it!
