I stopped playing jp a while ago but i still log on every now and then to summon cool festival characters, I was so impressed with escanor that I started a new global account just to play him
For the big characters you should always (eventually) have 2 sets of gear. One for their onfield build and HP def (if that isn't their main set already) for association purposes

I wish they would do away with HP gear giving more cc. It should be tied to how well rolled your gear is, perfectly rolled crit chance gear should give the same cc as perfectly rolled hp gear.

I use HP/Def for Geared PVP then Atk Crit for farming or pve activities. Still need alot of Hammers for all my Ur gears but can still get to 340k CC with CC food.

What are the best substrates for each piece on 4 attack and 2 crit damage
after 2 roration on the jp acc, I finally got him
What kind of sub-stats should I aim for on the gear? Pure attack resistenz and lifesteal etc.?
for majority of the characters, u wanna have base stats rolled on the sub stats. so for e.g, the top row shld have atk, the middle shld have def, and the bottom row shld be hp, no matter the gear set u r using. of course, there are exceptions for certain characters like blue tarmiel, reinhard and naofumi who base on either hp or defense so their top row can be crit chance, crit dmg, pierce rate etc. since they dont benefit from atk related stats
So, for the people that aren't whales or those that don't play 20h a day, what set should i go for? attack/defense, attk/crit damage or hp/defense?

My escanor has less damage and hp than yours. Its lvl100 max awaken, ult lvl1 sadly. So how is your basic stats so strong?

And on the gear pieces you combine the stats to +30% attack, +30% Defense and +30%HP?
Never give defense as a roll to any unit, the only exceptions are naofumi and raphtalia because they use defense to deal damage, but other than that, resistance is what actually makes your units hard to kill

I was told that the 2 piece set pieces should be your necklace and earring (the middle gear pieces) but you have the 2 sets as the bottom 2 pieces ? which is correct?
It can be anywhere. Actually better to have at bottom if they are def set pieces. Let's say you have attack def with def set pieces as bottom. To make hp def u just need to engrave top two hp pieces.

Welp I spend 3300 gems to 6/6 him
I gave him the max gear from the hawk pull Festival
Then I noticed the gear SUCKS
Then I gave him Atk/Crit
And now I have no engraving stones left
Oh and I still have Atk/Def from The One which I can also give him

My untimate escanor is level 100 with full attack UR gear rolled and fully super awakened and my attack is 15,000 how are some people’s escanors 17,000? When we have like the same stuff I’m confused

Wouldn’t you want to run hp/crt damage since his card works off of hp gone? More hp gone would mean more atk?
I use this gear hp/crt
It inflicts more the less percentage of life it has, not the less life as such. it's not a good idea to give him hp
@@PabloGarcia-yt6vg burning spear does scorch damage off of remaining health percentage not missing health so you're wrong lmao crazy prominence does damage off of missing health and the more health is missing more from hp gear more damage but ATK gear does way more damage overall
@@OKlarsplayer bruuuh the percentage doesnt depend on the number of hp, if u have 100 hp the 50% is 50 and if u have 10000 hp the 50% is 5000, but it depends on the %, not the hp number itself

Bruh, I swear escanor or the game hates me. I literally used 300 gems and got no ssr characters, none at all. At least I don't have to worry about gearing him 😃 cause I'm broke as hell
