So Mahito's Technique was needed for Kenjaku's plan
He used Idle Transfiguration to fix certain people he'd use as vessels for Incarnated Sorcerers from Past Eras.
He used idle transfiguration to give non sorcerers a cursed technique like when mahito gave junpei a technique. Kenjaku turned the past sorcerers into cursed objects like sukuna's fingers and fed them to people so when he rips the paper seal they are allowed to incarnate and take over their hosts body completly.

Kenjaku either uses certain people as Vessels for Past Era Sorcerers to incarnate or tweaks brains of those he marked so they can become sorcerers.
Takaba is the latter.

Idk if you still don’t understand but I’ll try to explain,so basically kenjaku marked 2 types of people,one of which is just non sorcerers,when he used idle transfiguration on these humans,he “wakes” them and there powers which in this case is their cursed techniques,the other I won’t explain because it spoils the manga in case you haven’t read it

He just explained everything himself. Rewatch the whole episode and I'm sure it becomes clear.
Fake geto is like 1000 years old and this whole time he's been striking deals with evil sorcerers to give them new bodies after death, probably in exchange for them working for him. After their deaths parts of their bodies became cursed objects which fake geto has more recently been feeding to specific people, like how Yuji ate sukuna's finger, but weaker obviously. It made them go into comas because they have weak normal human bodies, but now that fake geto has idle transfiguration he can reshape their souls to make their bodies stronger like Yujis, so presumably there's going to be a lot of possessed stronk ancient sorcerers for the gang to deal with. In addition there are people who are from powerful sorcery bloodlines who just don't have the same physical brain structure as sorcerers, and so can't use those powerful techniques. He changed their brains so they *can*, so probably the gang is gonna have to deal with broken abilities too. The reason fake geto can activate his idle transfiguration without touching them is because he marked them ahead of time, with some other technique presumably, because he planned for mahito to fight Yuji so he could get stronger, and then get styled on hard enough that he'dbe weak enough to get absorbed; in other words he's a pretty calculating motherfucker and has a healthy dose of omniscient anime villain syndrome. Also he released like a bajillion feral cursed spirits right before he peaced out, which really only makes sense if he's been using curse manipulation to store up curses this whole time (1000 years or so). Fake geto is doing all this because he's an objectivist shithead who wants sorcery to get really cool and strong again and the easiest way to do that is to fill up the world with curses and evil curse users who will turn the earth into a dystopian shonen battle hellscape for generations.
Its all for Kenjakus crazy goal that were still kind of unsure about. To achieve that goal kenjakus made an elaborate plan and the current stage in said plan involves Kenjaku using Curse manipulation to absorb a matured Mahito, use uzumaki to juice him and extract his technique(which kenjaku can only use once), and then use idle transfiguration over a wide range(made possible by his extensive amount of binding vows, contracts, marks and stuff) to do 2 things.
1. Unseal a large number of curse objects (imagine sukuna fingers but its some random other guy instead of sukuna) that hes already fed to people prior to this part. Since the vessels he chose for this arent built different like Yuji is, theyll be completely overtaken and lose their original personalities completely, instead fully becoming the guy in the curse object.
2. Cause people with sorcery potential to suddenly learn how to perform sorcery and use their curse techniques
They will later be forced into Kenjaku's culling games, which functions similar to a Battle Royale.

Contestants who refuse to participate will die
Killing other contestants give you points
You can add new rules by spending points as long as they dont completely ruin the intended experience

Im still trying to figure out what he said and how it works
He basically used the idle transfiguration he got from mahito to modify people and give them the ability to be jujutsu sorcerers. The people he modifies are either vessels that couldnt contain the souls of sorcerers from the past that he was storing like kashimo or angel, or the people who had the latent potential to awaken their technique and become sorcerers like higuruma.

@@froilanflorentino1252 He made people strong enough to be vessels and unsealed the cursed objects inside of them, so the sorcerers he me made pacts with in the past 1000 years, would reincarnate (like sukuna). As for the others, they had cursed techniques but their brains were structured like non sorcerers (like yoshino junpei) so he adjusted them to match sorcerers brains. Everyone has cursed energy to a certain extent.
