You made me cry. I'm not ready. I do sport. But I don't train with weapons. This teacher is remarkable. First time that I watch a training like this. That's reality. Thanks for the video
God bless! I have a question about knife defense ^^ Would it be reasonable to stop the knife first and then avoid the "line of fire"? If so, how do you think about this method below? There is a youtube video, titled "Knife Control Concepts: Knife Ground Control" recently uploaded. It focuses on the change of my position and the control of the attacker's armed hand. Against a thrust, you taught that move forward to attacker's inside and show my side to enemy, while I grab the arm. I found it reasonable to put my body away from a knife and to use my arm as a shield. But in the video above, the teacher uses his head to push attackers bicep or shoulder while grab the forearm. I think it is to stop the attack first without avoiding the line of fire. Then he changes his position and avoid the line of fire. Do you think it can be dangerous to seperate steps? or it is a good tactic to save my life against a predictable danger? Always be blessed, thank you for reading my question!
The only real real deal. Glad and privilege to learn from the best.
