Verlander is the favorite to win the Cy Young facing the hitter Judge the favorite to win the MVP, and Superman Shohei Ohtani is a contender for both the award, it's insane to be one of the top hitter's and pitcher's at the same time for him not to win the MVP, and also Shohei dominated Houston this season, pitched 4 games only 4 earn runs in 29.1 innings with 45 Ks

Ump was a big help there, strike zone was markedly different for Verlander than for Taillon and company it was bizarre. Yanks threw their #4 starter and their #10 and #15 bullpen arms basically punted this game .... That said Astros are a better team they should win cause Yankees are missing 8 of their top 10 bullpen arms, and their 2nd and 3rd best OBP hitters and 2 of their best defenders in DJ LeMahieu and Benintendi. Yanks fans wished to play the Astros in a non-cheating series and they got it but I dont think they expected the Astros would be at 95% vs Yankees at 50% health and a bias ump in game 1.

Guys I was there last night and I’m a grown man but I felt like a little boy I was over filled with joy , emotions , even watching the video of the highlights brings tears to my eyes because it was a masterclass of a game and I was able to experience it.

My favorite team are they rangers. That was my dad's team. He passed away. I am proud of the Astros. Besides cheating, they are so impressive in the playoffs. The best team in last 10 years. Props where props are due.

Playoff baseball is all about pitching!! Yankees having a weak bullpen no closer or any situational hitters will come back to bite them in this series!! The astros team is designed to win in the playoffs where as the Yankees are designed to hit a bunch of homeruns and be an exciting team only problem with that is it don't win in the playoffs!! The only way the Yankees score any runs is when there hitting it over the fence and that only works for so long!!
