Great, straight forward video. Thanks for this. I wonder if you have any ideas as to why my speedometer over reads by about 10mph and lags/sticks when I decelerate/slow down. Sometimes the needle doesnt return to the O position. It is an import and there is an mph overlay placed upon the orginal kmh calibrated speedo.

Hey Marco! What year is your Delica? It it gas or diesel? Do you have ABS? Looks like some issue with potensiometer or related problem with speed sensor - cluster electrical circuit.

Hey Pistonshack, love your videos I've just begun a heavy diesel mechanic apprenticeship in New Zealand.
But I also own a 95 L400 delica Chamonix, as my daily transport to work.
Do you have any tips for someone starting off as diesel mechanic?
    Cheers

Hey Ben! Greetings from Western Canada!
That's very useful skill, which will benefit you first, then your employer.
L400 has soft spot in my heard) I have two of them 94 and 95.
      Glad for you!
Well, I would say, always do high quality best work as you can, never try to cut corners and keep always learning. If you can find someone in person or online to learn the skill from it will help you so much.
      Take care brother!

      Thanks pistonshack
So far the first week has ended smoothly, and I'm learning and taking in as much information as I can from the older guys there...so far so good 👍.
Currently with my L400 I have a couple issues that I'm trying to sort myself via forums, videos and the workshop manual. Your "how to replace glowplugs" video got me started in the right direction (Pun intended) haha.
      Thanks man
      Your awesome

Behind the panel you will find small light bulbs, just replace them if necessary.
