Phthalo blue! I like this blue versus ultramarine blue, just because you get more of a “green” feeling to it than the very dark blue that UMB. But colbalt blue is pretty nice too... oh man

A thought occurred to me about your ink dispersion. You have scaled up the tip, but not the relative thickness of paper. The paper compresses and allows for better ink flow. I bet if you used a standard pen on ultra thin paper and then magnified it, you would see similar results to your big pen.
I really want to make this and give it to people when they ask me for a pen 😂

I love how youtube is becoming a weird scientific community: you basically took the paper (video) that other scientist published and tried to reproduce and fix the experiment and his issues with it in order to find further proof of a valid theory. Guys like you people are the best!

No, not if it’s just lazily tossed from a human height. It would have to reach terminal velocity from an astronomical height, with a considerable force; & even then, depending on its positioning on landing, the water could separate fast enough to leave the cup unharmed.
Too easy to calculate surface tension of water & drop height and compare it to surface of a normal floor. Episode would only be a few minutes long

@@manateelord5255 that's sodium chloride, very different
The Sodium would simply burn up. At 900°C it will turn into a gas. Liquid sodium is extremely corrosive and it's one of the few things that will destroy Teflon. It also corrodes glas. Trust me, I've destroyed way to much lab equipment trying to distill it.
