Hi Vince and family. The footage of Amber collecting wood with you in her own Purple Wheelbarrow was so cute.
Glad that both of the lambs are now doing better but that had to be scary with their body temperature going so low. They do make warming boxes for calves born out in the cold to warm up and they come back pretty quickly. They would probably work great for any of your lambs when needed.
Must say those Chocolate Chip muffins looked amazing. I'm sure they are a great snack when coming in from the cold doing chores.

She's really at that age now where she wants to help with everything, so thankfully they've got all these outdoor tools for children up here. We even got little snow shovels for her. She loves it!
It was real scare with the lambs, cause they just can't tell you what's wrong with them and we've got no experience. So it felt really good to see them get betters slowly. Those warming boxes sound like a really good idea. It would be easier than to transfer them from the sheep barn to our growing room each time. I also hate to separate them from the flock.
Caroline is getting better and better at baking, which is a nice skill to have out here and a nice little boost indeed to have in between the chores!

The visuals in this video were outstanding. Your children are so cute. Best of luck with the sheep.

We have upgraded to a new camera, so I'm very happy you noticed the difference in visuals! It does the beauty of the nature surrounding us more justice. The little ones are adorable indeed (when well behaved) and the sheep are well wrapped up, but it's really touch and go. Hopefully we have good news in the next vlog...

    Your lambs need deworming....

Can you tell us why you think that? We are beginners, so any advice is welcome!

@@AndreLacombe-c1y Yes, you're right. The 3 healthy sheep are very chubby though and are still doing fine, even though it has been -20 degrees celsius for some days. The other 2 were way too skinny, but they are regaining weight quite quickly since they are recovering inside. Mind you, this is probably the smallest size breed of sheep in Sweden and I also sheared them late in the season. Way too late apparently, but you live and you learn. They had no worms when we bought them in August, so I really think it's the hypothermia that got them, but we'll keep your suggestion in mind of course in case they do start to take a turn for the worse again. Thank you!

I wanted to ask why you shared them so late?
That’s really a absolute no go!
You share not later than end of June in your area.
Also they need deworming for sure.
The tale they don’t get worms when you change your pasture is what it is, a tale.
Also it’s winter, they are staying in their poo every day.
It is the recommended to vaccinate your sheep and lambs with CD-T.

@@LittleChena Thanks for the advice. These sheep are a special breed who's wool grows really fast and which need shearing twice a year. Once in spring and once in Autumn. However, I'm from Holland and our autumns are a little longer than up here and so half October was definitely too late and I should've done it in September in hindsight. Now I know!
