Hehehe, if only it was that easy. A wonderful idea that I've never seen, and it makes total sense for a vehicle that you could get stranded with in dangerous conditions. 👍❤️
Hi Vince and Caroline. Glad that Vince got the Drone for Christmas as it adds a lot of beautiful footage to your videos. The abundance of Snow, even though challenging, makes everything look so crisp, fresh and clean. Thanks for the up close footage of Smalls and Princess. They seem to be thriving now and seem to both have good appetites. If your cat is a good mouser, you should put them in the storage room and they will take care of the critter. He or she seems to have a nice life always sleeping on the warm Sofa. Your daughters seemed to enjoy their Pancakes and having a nice snooze on the way home. With having to travel so far, is must be frustrating not being able to get everything you need, once there. With your Snowmobile it may help to add some Fuel Conditioner to your gas and that may help it run better in the Cold weather. The Cold temperatures make everything more challenging. Glad that you were able to take care of your frozen pipes before you had any burst. Really enjoying your videos, so keep up the great work.
That cat of ours has a really nice life indeed! He brought home so many mice before the snow came, so it would be good to set him loose in the cellar and keep him busy. We were very disappointed indeed not to be able to get all the stuff we wanted after all that driving. We only go there about twice a year. Will ask about the fuel conditioner next time I go to the shop where I bought the snowmobile. They do give me synthetic oil that goes in the machine and gets mixed with the fuel when driving, but will ask them. Really glad you enjoy the videos and thank you for the confidence boost. It's much appreciated!
Glad that you caught the Moose in the road, on video. I saw once on video some guys in Alaska that ran into a large Male Moose on Snowmobile and it wouldn't move off of the path, so they just had to stop and wait for it to move.
@northernhomestead2024 I think there are two main types of people. The first group feels well only under the hot sun while the other loves colder climate. Myself being the second. But to be frank I admire you both - super north souls. Looking forward longer days and the very first signs of spring ( March perhaps 🤣) on your homestead and in your videos. 🐦🐦🐦
@@renata-s5b I certainly prefer the cold as well, cause in the heat I would not get anything done! April is usually where we start to feel the heat of the sun and snow starts to melt. I think March is too optimistic 😁
You're totally right. We do have a lot in containers already, but not all. It's a lot of money to buy that many containers all at once, so we're working our way towards it!
Hello Vince, what a great feature to have the tool and spare plugs onboard in case of issues. 👌❤️
When I opened up the hood, I thought it was those 2 spare plugs that were the ones that needed replacing. I've kept that footage for the bloopers 😅

Wow! Here they are really jumpy and quite a rare sight. Instead it's the reindeer that won't get out of your way.
Thank you for showing us your animals. You certainly not live on an easy spot. It was a pleasure to watch this snowy landscape.
Stay warm 😊❤😊
You're welcome! The nature is definitely tough out here, but it's worth it's beauty. Really glad you enjoyed the video ☺❤

You have to store food in containers
