So the wolf guy is basically the guy telling them step by step how to resolve the problem.
Also didn't Wolf drive the car to the junkyard himself? If a cop by chance stops them on the way there, I am sure Wolf can smooth talk out of that situation 10x better than Jules and Vincent. Having someone who has the expertise is never useless especially when your life and future depends on it.
Also being addicted to opium or at least someone one who takes alot is hard to shit so he's might be high and trying to squeeze one out. Meaning Vincent is not paying full attention to his surroundings.
The reason Vincent in the toilet did nothing when he heard someone in the kitchen, was because he thought it was Marcellus. The Uzi is also Marcellus’. They went there together but Marcellus went out to get doughnuts, as we saw.

If he wanted to make some comment about people "choosing" to leave the crime business that would've been accomplished a lot better by having Jules leave early in the movie while we watch Vincent eventually die. The Wolf is useless, the watch is stupid, the gimp scene is messed up and unnecessary. Just a stylish nothing, like a lot of his movies

Given that the creators of the film say it is anything the viewer wants it to be, I really like the theory, and I am a viewer, then technically I am correct. But given all that, I would also be correct if I said there was 253 gerbils in the briefcase as well.

Change clothes and go to diner where the robbery happen(this is the last scene). They return to Marcellus talking to butch. Vince hang out with Marcel’s wife, meanwhile Butch finish his match. Next day butch killed Vince while getting his watch.
