It’s rare you get this in boxing but in Muay Thai, you have a lot of dudes who are like senchai.
They’re very friendly, welcoming, careful in sparring, have a playful time in sparring, but can turn it on when they need to.

Interestingly, when Saenchai starts to lose, he starts to harden. But when a Farang does it, it's immediately disrespectful

First it's play sparring so there is no winning or losing. Secondly they only throw hard warning shots when Farangs use disrespectful techniques such as the woman who throw a spinning back fist at Superlek followed up by an elbow (which is never done during play) or go a little hard. Play spar should be no more than 20-30% intensity tops.
