I recently picked one up alongside some other knives. I got it in the blue and the finish is stonewash and not satin if anyone hasn't stated it. I ended up picking up the Vosteed Talarus, Civivi Exarch, QSP Ripley, Civivi Clavi, and Vosteed Corgi Pup. In that order is how I like them most to least, which all of them are solid knives. The Corgi Pup only is the least favored because it has the weight of a full sized knife while being a small one, which I feel like people purposely gloss over when talking about it.
Awesome lineup of knives. I honestly haven’t noticed the Corgi Pip being especially heavy but my Pup has Rafir Noble Composite scales while my full size has Micarta scales so that may be making the difference a little wider. Thanks for tuning in! 👊🏼⚔️
@@UncommonEDC maybe, I got the purple g10 one and it's about 3 ounces, which I'm used to mid to full sized knives weighing 3 or more ounces personally. I decided hell, which one? ALL OF THEM.
I watched another review of this knife and it was mentioned the omega/crossbar springs were extremely heavy on that one. Have you noticed that with your sample?
@@UncommonEDC Thank you for the feedback and hands-on experiences. I have it down now to either the Ripley or the Kali. Wish they offered the ceramic coating for blade on the Ripley too. But crossbar has better locking system than button lock so I'm still undecided.
thanks for checking it our Jake 🔥
You bet, killer design brotha! 👊🏼⚔️
Great blade shape. Looks like a good user!
My thoughts exactly, appreciate you taking a look! 👊🏼
QSP has gotten the barlock down. Like this one a lot. Great review Jake.
Agreed, really well executed here. Thanks for checking it out my friend!
Been waiting for these to release ever since I saw them in a blade show video!
Sweet, almost here finally. Appreciate you checking out the video! 👊🏼⚔️
This design keeps catching my eye…even though I’m not a fan of cross bar locks,,,seems like this has crisp detent
Mine definitely does have a much crisper detent than the typically mushy feel you get with a lot of crossbar locks.
Looks like a total winner. Definitely right up my alley.
Absolutely, thanks for tuning in! 👊🏼⚔️
This one looks pretty neat!
I dig it, thanks for taking a look Randy!!
Now I really like that knife! Very nice Jake! Thanks for sharing!
Nice, glad you dig it. Thanks for checking it out my friend!!
Great review on a good looking piece. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks brotha, appreciate you taking a look! 👊🏼
Looks pretty interesting, acoustics sound good. I wonder if this glyde lock feels the same as the Vault
Thanks! And not sure, haven’t handled the Vault yet but it definitely feels solid. Appreciate you checking it out!!
I like QSP's embracing of the two-tone G10 patterns. Glyde Lock is already a winner!
Same here, I’m bored of single color/layer g10 for the most part haha. And agreed on the Glyde lock. Thanks for tuning in!! 👊🏼⚔️
I would love to see the wolverine edition too. That would be badass.
Haha right! Hopefully they do one at some point. Thanks for checking it out!

Interesting, mine is firm but pretty easy to actuate. I wouldn’t describe it as heavy on my example.

Can you reverse flick off the thumb stud? Is it fairly easy to do? Thank you
Yes, I’m able to reverse flick it fairly easily. Thanks for watching!
Thank you
