Yes start with the oil and a hot engine with a good flush so it drains out nice 👍 you say your stolen Audi but 38K miles you did steal it! I must have missed you mention that as I thought it had done 100k miles. Lucky guy and lucky car for having a caring owner to do it justice. Bravo on a bargain motor.

@@paulthompson5416 The more cleaner that engine is kept the sweeter it will run, also mileage means nothing...if a car has only done 5,000 but the oil has been in the engine for 10 yrs it won't be no good!

Very interesting to watch! I’m an apprentice working for Skoda so I guess still VW group. Was nice to see your way of doing things, and also I think it’s good that you used genuine parts. I’ve still got a lot to learn but in my experience the genuine parts are generally better fitment and quality. And man Dosen’t gearbox oil just stink.. Good job!

Love this style of video also dean 👍🏼 great little tips like the coolant sitting in the V and only half dropping the rear undertray for the fuel filter is brilliant 👏🏼
Also didn’t know about the 3l not having a dipstick unless you have a “specialist” tool for checking it and as you very well pointed out that it only shows level when warm 🤔 wouldn’t take you to have left the sump plug finger tight 🤣🤣
Keep up the good work bud

Informative again, nice one. How long did it take? My last service the dealer totally balls'd up. Over filled engine oil by over half a litre, no coolant top up, ticked boxes as green and said they had done checks but didn't actually do things such as greasing hinges. Said they changed brake fluid and left that overfilled as well. Can't wait till car out of warranty and I can get local garage to do annual service by a "real" mechanic like you. Oh and they disconnected dash cam on test drive of my hot hatch.
