I've played WoW forever and I never used cool downs because "well, what if I need it in 5 mins?" Hardcore has really taught me that CDs are just CDs and burn them whenever you can and just wait until they are back up again if you don't feel confident without them.
Damn that's rough for the first guy, he had enough health to get to a safer section of the water but the panic of the moment is rough to make that call.
Really awesome to see the influx of people getting back into classic because of Hardcore and all the coverage its getting. I didn't hop on the Classic bandwagon back in 2019 when it was released and really regretted it. It seems now is a really good time to give it a try again.
I agree! I only joined classic during Wotlk cause it's my favorite expansion, sad I missed the classic era, but trying WoW classic for the first time now with hardcore. Its great
@@VictusPrime i dont think so. Look at Old School Runescape. The HC game mode their has been out for years and it is extremely popular still. And trust me, you lose waaaay more time when you die in OSRS! Maxing the account there can take 3000 hours
@@Darniros OSRS is a game that actually evolves over time and has new content added. You're comparing apples to oranges. HC Classic is niche af. It'll have a small but dedicated group of players, but the majority of players who are just trying it out will eventually get bored and stop playing.

Asmons comment about people dueling on top of cliffs because of anime reminds me of me and my friend in Wrath. After both of us farmed thunderfury we would go look for weird duel spots and just auto attack while jumping around. Sometimes it was on cliffs, sometimes in caves or underwater. Whenever one of us found a weird spot we would invite the other one and tell them to come over for a duel. My personal favorite was the tree branches of teldrassil. Was peak WoW.
I feel like there hasn't been a single warrior in all of these videos that didn't play their character like an absolute nob. So many mobs that are almost dead .. and it's unbelievable at how they change targets, panic turn their back to them, stop attacking, waste cooldowns, etc..
What's the deal with the myth that if you stop attacking a mob it de-aggros faster? I legit just run the same and sometimes they chase me for 5 seconds and sometimes they chase me for 5 minutes. Purely a myth.
I just tried Hardcore, had a 10 minute disconnect at lvl 12 and died while my character was still running around in Orgrimmar. WoW just never changes lol

ITT hyperspawns are fine but there needs to be some sort of tell to the player that there are hyperspawns are happening. because having to wait on respawns sucks, but getting backspawned is worse, and if you're just farming having mobs spawn quickly is fantastic :D

I think asmond is used to rogues not using their abilities or something. Because as soon as they do use their abilities they play "legendary" :D The rogue was just a rogue. rogues has many tools in their kits.
One thing i noticed a out shallow wow water is if you look down while landing in it you might die, if you look up you tend to live assuming you dont hit ground.
First two rules of hardcore: never try to save half a second by jumping somewhere, and always wait for elevators.
Rule #3: Never pull more than you have to.
there are desync bugs in undercity where the door opens and the elevator instantly goes down so even if you wait you get fucked

i always tell nobs not to use sunder armor but they wont listen. looks like 3 extra damage to them is better than using actual damage ability.
