Not sure if this is meant to be unlisted or something, but here I am 😂

man 4 percent shields and 1 gun working you still managed the second round.

I think it's in a great spot. It's supposed to be the 'best' or among the best multi role fighters. The reality is that a negligible percent of players know how to actually fly their ships well. Myself included. I really appreciate your you spelled it out on space tomatoes podcast.

Thank you for pointing this out to the community 👉 I think the F8 is right where it should be for now 🚀 People see high DPS and assume it's op. DPS isn't everything folks 🤔

  • @TheNobear

Great analysis dude, it’s good to see the furi able to stand up to the F8

  • @dereksherwood3794

Solid analysis and feedback, thanks for helping deflate the panicwagons wheels a bit :)

Good video. People over-react on the F8. First, it has absolutely zero Heavy Fighter peer to compare it with in the (public) game. The only heavy fighter peer it has is the Ares; which itself is massively out of adjustment & a different style of heavy fighter. Second, the F8 (and other Heavy Fighters behind it) will ultimately break down into the classic skill-cap duality. The F8 at the extreme top end of the skill distribution; the F8 is not the best. Dumb it down the bell curve, and suddenly the "heavy" part of it being a heavy fighter brings it massively to the front of the power list of fighters. That... Is OK... It's not a problem. A $250-300usd heavy fighter using it's strength should be beating $75-200usd fighters being used poorly. Do not head on fight a ship with double the firepower and four times the sustainment... The opposite should also be true. The well flown ship should be able to win against the poorly flown one.

I've had my tobii for almost 2 years and love the hell out of it.

As a pure combat ship that doesn't even have a QD the Fury kind of deserves top have an edge.

  • @PolarfuchsGaming

Great to know after being the first to take 3 F8C lightnings out with my Fury in one skirmish over Brios, and many more in later play. Now A1 is covering the slap down the Fury can deal. Really glad this was covered, humbling the F8 has been my favorite part of the ship’s release. Good video!

  • @mrgrimm98

I have had a tobii for quite some time now, they are absolutely awesome for flying

  • @Bootneck-1664

Amazing, content. Such light hearted fun. Thankyou.

Nice Video. Thank you for taking the time! I Love the F8 and I really hope it doesn't get jumped int he alley with Nerf Bats like my poor Ares did back in the day. But now you have me wondering... I get that we are trying to simulate what would happen if a Fury set upon the most likely configuration of an F8. But I'd be curious to see if you could still clap an F8 in a Fury if they went full Fly swatter mode and put all ballistics to tear those thrusters off even through the shield. :D

" To say the F8 is pay to win ship. Is simply not true." Agreed

  • @GenesisDG

Phenom and Sealion are without a doubt, some of the best pilots inside SC right now and they certainly do

  • @tomiisan8g155

Have used the Tobii for most of my 6 months in Star Citizen and love it after getting everything set right.

  • @zpilot4523

Running a Tobii setup had added so much to my gameplay experience. Especially on a smaller(ish) screen

  • @danielkempster85

    Great content. Thank you

I’ve been saying it all along. Thanks for posting this. Its larger profile and slower turn rate makes it vulnerable to agile fighters. It’s well balanced I think.
