It astounds me every time I see these how sad things have become. The pure sense that of entitlement, "private this", "private that". Don't feel that freedom is disappearing, it is growing. There have been more videos about such things and that is good. Others who watch these videos learn about the rights and the police are not too happy about this because they have in the past until now discriminated and exploited the law.. time we all wake up.

You don't need to hit someone for an assault to occur, in theory someone on the opposite side of the road to you can 'assault you' (put you in immediate fear of harm) by simply shouting "right, I'm coming over there to kick your head in" . . . you don't need physical contact ("battery") for an assault to take place.

The building manager treated you like a piece of garbage. He believes he is entitled to investigate you in public whilst you are acting lawfully and outside his company boundary. He either committed 'battery' or 'assault.' You have it on camera. A solicitors letter to his employer would most likely result in an out of court settlement for the way he treated you. The video footage is golden, they have no justification for the employees actions.
Complains about the high crime then adds to it by committing an assault.
Why is no one smartly dressed in business these days. Sloven and unshaven, everyone looks scuffy and unprofessional.
