If you just need a place to level up ascension for a quest without spending too many crystals, you could summon those three heroes you have stones for, and dump a few EXP potions into them to unlock ascension.
(The quest reward for getting more heroes is a bunch of huge EXP potions so it only costs a small amount of gold.)
Also, you can just hit escape while a menu is scrolling from opening a lot of chests. Escape twice closes the dialog pretty quickly after collecting everything. That might be unclear to viewers for making youtube videos, though.
