Hi why does mine display resolution on the mecool km2 plus only limits to 4k 30hz instead of 4k 60hz? My TV supports 4k 60hz and I have a HDMI 2.1 cable. Why???
I own this exact box and thanks for the great review! Very infirmative. Question for you - when I go to access the "Data" folder in Xplore File Manager, I can't get into the folder as it says "Access Denied" with a red dot on the folder. Do you know of a work around so I can access this folder? Thanks in advance!
@@jayceooi It has dedicated "spdif output". Have u turn off Dolby Digital Plus and Dolby Atmos (leaving Dolby Digital only toggle on) while playing Netflix?
So much for in depth review. One thing you should be aware of is that even with USB thumb drive, you can not write to it eg save files like you can with the fire tv stick.
Mecool KM2 Plus has not HDR! If HDR was put on only an 1080p Signal comes to my QLED 4K TV. Any Netflix and Co. comes in HD. If you put HDR off then you can enjoy in 4K UHD. Been warned and informed before you buy in!

@@norbertrivera Not to worry about USB port speed. Even USB 2.0 is faster than 5G WiFi. As long as the device can play 4K contents, USB port can do so too. Therefore, not many mention it.

The only thing that I suspect is the cable. But yours is HDMI 2.1 already. So I have no idea then.
