how can these conversations make so much sense? ENFPs reunion was like full of fairy-like, magical, syncronicity and authenticity stuff (and people with colorful hair🤣) , ISFP convo was chill af, v casual, full of candid disclosure, art/hobbies, and this one looking like a work/job reunion. hahaha Very serious and logical one. Great videos btw. -enfp
Michael shouldn’t feel bad for watching “trash tv”. As an NT type, a show like the Bachelorette can help him explore his SF side, which makes him well rounded. 😁
When the topic broached on inferior Fi, I related so much to the idea of "nothing is happening right, so I gotta MAKE something happen" because I just burned out this semester in university. It just hits harder when I realize that i've been in inferior fi grip for the last few months and I probably still am in that state.
My Dad is an ENTJ and he’s like this machine/ futuristic novel since his intuition and plans for the future tended to be right. The fi meltdowns were confusing since his Te is really strong but I’m really good at calming him down and I think that’s why I was interested in psych from an early age. When my HS INTJ friend lived with our ENTJ friend in college. The ENTJ and friends drove the INTJ so nuts that he made a sleeping schedule, blew up at them and started using a brief case to show authority for a short period. An ESFJ friend came to me for advice for them and I laughed and said I was on his team since I had made a sleeping schedule for my roommate and me and had made a lights out time too. I’m normally extremely relaxed but something about group living situations flips me into my upside down INTJ self haha. I also learned the checklist my mother passed by my ENTJ father it wasn’t a bad idea just like wow. I mean compared to any F type NTJ’s are robots but that’s without understanding the whole picture and end sight. In many ways NTJ’s are just being mature and not selfish but yeah it can look weird to F types. I turn to NTJs in crisis or with big problems and issues. They are objective wizards.
ENTJ female here. I do exactly what Barb does when I am really angry. I go dead silent, walk away and think about how, when and where I am going to respond. Then I intentionally respond. OTOH, if I react in the moment, I'm just blowing off steam and it's nothing serious. More than one person has completely misinterpreted my silence - to their detriment lol.
Intriguing how Jeff keeps checking his concepts with "the tribe". I interpret that as his lead Te working with Ni in action. Michael... Observing and Processing, as usual. (i'm at about 25 minutes)
Te has a tendency to want to know what people "think" about things. Some people need feedback more than others. It just depends on many life (personal growth) influencing factors. Translation: nurture (culture, religion, etc...) vs nature (your type preference pattern).
@@thatguybutitsactuallyagirl5384 around 22:21 (just before the 25 minute mark I mentioned) is an example. He has his own conceptualisation, and wants to check other people's experience of "it".
0:40 as soon as I saw barb's background I laughed so hard because my ENTJ friend's room looks almost EXACTLY like that 😆 She's a huge book nerd and insists on only getting matching sets of series, and has them neatly organized all over the walls
That's hilarious! We can't help it. We tend to like symmetry in things and appreciate aesthetics (Te+Se). We also tend to need external order to be productive and feel at ease. Which automatically removes the chaos around us.
@@NellaArabrab This makes a lot of sense, I go to school with this friend of mine and we typically have to re-arrange things so that they are the most organized and visually appealing, otherwise it will bother her. She feels very strongly about where the stapler needs to go 😂.
On Michaels "strategic loss of temper" = yep. It's to be used to fuel problem solving and prevention of elevation of frustration to anger. No use letting it ruminate into a neurotic state. Emotions are information that can aid in getting past an obstacle and onward to something purposeful. - ENTJ
I think Ni is more slow than Ne cause Ni Doms want to think about the possible outcome of what they are saying. Especially Enneagramm 5 types won't say something until they counter-argued from every position they can think of until the final statement is most likely to be bulletproof and they can defend that statement, at least in a work environment. Ne doms are doing the same, but they are doing it externally and have no problems sharing the unfinished idea with someone else to refine it to it's core.
I'm an intj, and for me with being "as a matter of fact" about things comes from I don't say anything unless I'm fairly sure that's how it is. If I don't know something I will straight tell you I don't know and I don't like giving unsure information, I want to be a source of reliability
As a second comment: I am under the impression that Jeff sincerely wants to understand what makes INTJs (in particular his wife?) tick. I suspect that the fact that we share functions, but just slightly different order, throws him off: It's like "false friends" in language, things look the same (e.g. Sea and der See in English and German), but meaning is shifted (der See means lake).
INTJ - This was a great panel. I think Jeff would have gotten some additional INTJ insights talking to Jasper as he seems to have a more developed Fi than Chris and Michael imo (or perhaps his enneagram wasn't type 5? can't quite remember). (I always like when you can glimpse their Fi coming through). May be biased as 1w2 but I see a few times where I would add to something chris has said with some disagreement that stems from Fi having a need to be 'genuine' - The ability to reevaluate your position is invaluable but I think it's important to only sound matter of fact and sure about something if you actually are, and our type generally needs to put the effort into being comfortable showing our emotions (esp emotional vulnerability) around others in social settings since that's often what Fe users around us are looking for as a measure, and it can be interesting radiating your Fi out in a controlled way and interpreting the results of that. I completely agree with the type 1 INTJ being more 'angry' (from perfectionism) than these more stoic type 5s! Finally, to add to the anecdote of ENTJs using a 'checklist' when meeting people, I would say in my experience the INTJ way was, when I meet someone I'm "measuring their intentions and their competency", what kind of things they come up with and whether they deserve my energy devoted to them, so I'm always trying to tell if they're honest about both what they're saying and why they're saying it (and how good they are at what they do). I firmly agree with the need for competency and I find that very admirable in ENTJs that this is their 'big thing' as Te doms but wonder if they're not missing out on the sort of fun of the process by not having Ni at the helm!
As an ESTJ I love listening to Ti users, but I have to agree with you that i rarely agree with them. I find i pick at Ti users often with questions to get the answers i need to help them make their view point more Te worthy.
I guess Se function I sud say that The Te function for ENTJ is all the while capture the information BIG , SMALL, FRACMENT information from eye, ears, everything ... just store in our brain with the Ni help , then Se help it will structure those data reprocess it to become useful data practically ENTJ is not that the type when need to use certain thing they go to find it... Unless that thing is totally odds or different field... Even it is different field the TE chunk or fragment of information can reassemble out and using more Te and Se continue to source for information ENTJ won't do the thing until they confident... when the infor is sustaintially enug... they can get rid the fear and risk... then let the process run directly
Randy has already made up his mind about what he wants out of this. I'm just going to go straight in and ask for his assessment of the damage he claims. Get straight down to the business.
I find it funny how the ENTJs keep smiling at their own jokes and don't really care of the outside responses they get and the INTJs would not respond to the jokes simply because ENTJs are smiling if they don't find the jokes funny. That's so Fi. Michael's Te is not so developed. He has trouble with speech and seem to be much more diving into his Ni-Fi than his Ni-Te. Jeff's Te is so strong... omg I don't think Jeff is in a Te-Se loop tho. I think because he is aging, he is developing his Se unlike Barb who is younger, so I think that's why they can't quite relate to each other

JoJo’s season & Kaitlyn’s season are the Hamlet & King Lear of Bachelorette
Yeah, Jeff seemed a bit frustrated by his wife's habit and it kinda put Michael on the spot.
As always, the xNTJ panel is amazing. The discussion is very informative and entertaining. Thank you!
I haven't seen Barb before outside of a thumbnail. She seemed to have great insight into the motivations and perspectives of others.
Thanks! 😊 I've worked hard throughout my life to understand people's "WHY."

Can you please do a video of the four flavors of each type based on dario nardi? Like each flavor of one type in one video.
Absolutely! One day.
I bet when Barb said counterparts Michael thought of the word countertype (his channel) (INTJ)

Thanks for watching! I am not. But now am curious to check that channel out.

Like CSPB vs CPSB and stuff??
First distinction between the two personalities:
E=talks more about what they're doing
I=talks more about other things that are related to them
