- Checkout the action on one of the greatest Spring Salmon fishing runs in decades. My friends and family hauled in so many beautiful tasting Springer Salmon, often called Columbia River Gold. All the Salmon caught were in the Pacific Northwest of Oregon and Washington on the Columbia River.

It’s pretty standard thing to bleed out the animals we eat. Most meat and fish we eat are bled and cleaned.
