You are one of the few reviewers that can keep a 20 minute video entertaining the entire way through. Great video!
Excellent video!! Two tiny Hive Mind clarifications: First, you score one point even if no one else matches your answer (because you matched yourself!) and the Queen Bee track can be important because it allows rounds where *many* bees tie for the same scores and drop together -- this can lead to a mass exodus in the final round and varying numbers of winners and losers! :)
For hit Z road, if the auction element isn’t your jam, you could remove the auction and just distribution the player number tokens each time to decide the order of who gets to pick their route option.
My absolute favourite trick taking game is "Pi mal pflaumen". Plus it comes in a small box and has gorgeous artwork.

Double Feature seems to be a implementation of the game Cineplexity which I thrifted many years ago and have enjoyed greatly. When I went to go and see if they shared design credits (they do - with the addition of Kovalic as artist), I noticed that they are actually quite close in BGG rankings. The older Cineplexity is at 7609 and Double Feature is at 7706.
+roastedmnm Yeah I think they updated the decks a little bit, but it's effectively the same game.

Thanks for the recommendations. Must check out Beyond Baker Street. Enjoyed Snow Tails when it first came out but have played it since.
My kids LOVE Hive Mind, but we (literally) threw out the board (and the huge box). You really only need the cards, and pen and paper... the rest is pointless, and space consuming in ever shrinking valuable shelf space. We just put a star next to our answers that other people also had. Most stars wins. Quick, easy, compact, and super fun.
Beyond Baker Street rocks! I need to get that back to the table soon. Snow tails seems like it may be fun to try, but probably not a buy for me. I want to check out flamme rouge too. I have a lack of racing games in my collection and want to start with a good one. - Great Episode as always!

Great set of reviews! I really want to try Hit Z Road. Looks really nice to my taste. Agree with Beyond Baker Street! Really clever game!
No game produces more hysterical laughter for our group than Hit Z Road. The difficulty is the fun, along with the wonderful art and components.
Hit Z Road is a decent game for the price. Last I saw, it was on Amazon for a tenner. A tenner. For a Martin Wallace game. I totally get what you mean about the auction mechanic - it's a bit weird and I'd not really taken much notice of it not being thematic before you mentioned it. It's an enjoyable game tho - I played it at work with my team a few months ago and each member went out and bought a copy not long after.
I have been in need of a fresh party games for my collection, "Hive MInd" seems to fit the bill! I wonder if you could just have a set number of rounds and whoever has the most points after the final round wins? But if that were the case then I would be reeeeeally tempted to just carry around the cards in a more portable box lol (although the "beeple" are adorable).
Beyond Baker Street has me intrigued as well! My husband loves Hanabi, but I can't stand the scoring system. Win or lose is a much better way to go. Anyway, thanks for the reviews!! I love your videos, keep it up!
I love Hanabi and I wonder if Beyond would be better for me too. Also Hive Mind seems great, but I think we wouldn't really keep score at all.
I like the idea of the theme for Hit Z road, but the auction mechanic seems pretty harsh. Without having played the game, it sounds like it could really benefit from the auction system used in Stockpile.
On all your cards did you laminate them? They look like they are in card sleeves or something. What are you using?
I definitely play Hanabi win or lose. I tell everyone the "score" as compensation for upset losers but otherwise we've lost!

What are your thoughts on Flamme Rouge compared with Snow Tails ?
+Korneel T I've only played Flamme Rouge once. I didn't find it to be exciting enough for my tastes. It plays faster than Snow Tails, though. It's possible that racing games aren't really my thing.
Try Rush & Bash, it's amazing and fairly cheap to get :)
