My two are 366 days apart and I say all the time if my daughter didn’t surprise us, my son would be an only child. He was a NICU baby. So glad your story turned out so well. Thank you for sharing.

We can relate in NC. The humidity is awful! Like you, the birth of my son was not like I had envisioned. It ended in a c-section with the cord wrapped around his neck. I am so thankful God gave him to us 11 years ago. It was worth it all.

You guys are two of the most sweetest people. Loved this video. You have a gorgeous home. Some people are never happy with what they have, they always want to keep up with others, that's why it's nice to see that you know what you need, not what you want. We only have one son, sometimes I regret not having another one, but we did what we thought was the best for us. My husband has an older son. I had a natural birth, my son had the umbilical cord wrapped around his neck also. That is a scary thing. I know that is the baby's life line but, it's scary to know the things that can happen.
Life is so much better when you are content.

I really appreciate the honesty in these answers. My husband and I have recently gone through our first bad season in marriage and we did exactly what you said. I loved this video thanks for the laughs and tears. I remember going through my labor in March of this year and asking you to pray for us. His heart beat dropped and i was nervous wreck also but some how through God and your prayer we made it and he's a healthy almost 5 month old and very chunky 😄 so again thank you for being there in prayer with me. My great grandmother was half Cherokee! My son-in-law is from Oklahoma and he is Cherokee as well! I love Native American heritage. My mother’s heritage is German and my fraternal grandmothers family was Dutch and Irish and African! So I’m kind of a “mutt”! 🤪 I have red hair and freckles and dark skin (yes, it’s possible!)

Denver is kind of a gritty city. If it’s mountains you’re after, Colorado Springs is a better bet. Or Aspen. But if you do end up in Denver, you could take your daughter on a tour of the US Mint. Tours are available Monday thru Thursday only, and it’s first-come, first-serve. Get to the ticket window early, as they go fast. I learned all this the hard way when I went to Denver last year.
Yes we typically end up in Colorado Springs. I remember going to the Renaissance Festival a lot.

In the early 70's we visited OK in June. My b-i-l was going to college for ministry & we visited him & family & a cousin lived in Tulsa. I remember it being so dry & windy. My hair was in terrible shape the 2 wks we were there.
Our weather is very hot here in TX & like you the humidity just takes your breath away. Its been 103 feels like 109. Won't go below 100 till 25th & will be 98....lol

Yea, alot of people, my sister included, think that exercise will only make you tired. I feel better and more energized after exercising, even walking around the house for 30 minutes to an hour.

Loved the story of Savannah. My son was two months early. I laid in the hospital for 6 weeks on bed rest waiting to give birth. He weighed 3 lbs 2.5 oz. I had c-section also with both my boys. You guys are awesome and definetly meant for each other. Thank you for your stories.

That’s so crazy hearing Savy’s birth story. My sons was very similar. I didn’t have a c section he was born natural but they also started losing his heartbeat and his cord was wrapped around his neck twice. He came out red and purple my mom called him a little red hat baby. Happy to say he’s almost 9 and a very active little guy. He spent the first 3 weeks of his life in a children’s hospital because his oxygen levels were so low.
I’m glad it worked out well for our babies!

I just had a C-section with my second baby boy July 19th and had a spinal block! Your part about trying to move your toes had me cracking up!!! I was able to hold my baby right away but the nurse still had me trying to move my toes and they would not budge for the first few hours 😂 it is the craziest thing!

Oh my...that birth story took my breath away. I have birthed five healthy and perfect baby girls without any medical intervention and most certainly take for granted how blessed I am that my pregnancies and labors were super smooth and easy. This was so fun to watch! I had to laugh when you were talking about a cleaning lady growing up because we also had one and I have wonderful memories of coming home and I could just smell how clean our house was. I guess that’s where my love of cleaning started! 😂 although, I’m pretty sure as a teenager I lliked coming home to that smell because that meant I wouldn’t have to clean!😂
