I was 18 and my husband was 21 when we married. We have been married 38 years, 3 sons and 5 grands.
I also let him know from the day we met I wanted to stay home and be the mother I didn't have. I was blessed to only work when times were hard. I think the longest was a year.

My husband and I have been married for 20 years and I was 19 when I got married and he is ten years older than me. We don't have any kids and like yourself we have grown and changed together the 39 year old that I am now is definitely not who he married. I think the advice you gave for a good marriage was great. I usually don't watch videos like this one, but this video was actually really good. I think that both of you have a natural presence in front of the camera and it makes it feel honest and real. So many other videos of this type seem contrived and stiff. Thank you for taking the time to make and post your videos for your viewers. I Love your channel and this Q&A video. My daughter is 5 and she is the only child my husband I have we are very happy and blessed to have her, but the pressure to have another child is a lot everyone thinks she needs a sibling lol. I truly believe God has a plan for everyone and I'm glad to see we aren't the only ones happy with one child. Hope y'all have a blessed day

Love hearing love stories! My husband and I have been married for 13 years. Been together for 16 years and got married when we were babies at 18. He’s my rock and ur right we grew up together and it’s a lot of fun having my best friend with me all the time. We have 1 girl she is 6 and pry will be our only child as well. We’re 31 as well. Exciting to hear stories similar to ours! Love the channel and ur fun content

Your channel is one of my favorites, and this episode helped me understand why. We have some things in common - lack of clutter, good marriage, homeschooling, and love of God. What is not in common is our age (I’m 69 and my husband is 66), the age we were when we were married (25 and 28), the number of kids we have (2 boys, 1 girl now 33,36, & 37), what our husbands do (mine was a pastor) and what we do together (we open our home as a get-away to weary Christian professionals like pastors and missionaries). Anyway, you are easy to relate to and thoroughly enjoyable to watch.
I’m so happy you enjoy our channel! We do have a lot in common even despite the age gap. That’s so cool you open up your house for pastors and missionaries!

My man and I got together when I was 19 and he was 20; we're still together now after 12 years. The growing up part is so true, we were kids when we dated and had different interests then like living a fast life but now we just love either staying home cooking together or go on road trips.
You definitely have to grow together!

We were also married at 20, and we have both changed a lot, as well. Four boys later, we are about to have our 21 Wedding Anniversary, this August! It does take a ton of work, but so worth it!

New viewer and loved hearing that you have 1 child. We tried a LONG time to have a baby, almost adopted a down syndrome baby but that wasn't in Gods plan. Then found out baby girl was already on the way. We SERIOUSLY consider only having 1 child so its really encouraging to hear your story and how content and fulfilling that is.

I married my husband at 18 and we have been married for 17 years. We have two daughters (14 and 11) and I have been a stay at home mom since my oldest was born. Love this lifestyle. Great video!
