Pita Barcelona and Mr. Pita have been on my radar for a number of years. Their offerings are of great interest. Like Habring2, their annual production is very small. Mr. Pita is a former member of the AHCI which I believe is their senior status. His AHCI connection acknowledges that horological speaking Mr. Pita can play in the tall grass with the big boys. My recollection is that Mr. Pita is an autodidact and has never had a formal watchmaking training. As reflected by the dive watch reference which you featured, Mr. Pita is quite the horological inventor/technologist. You are also right about Brandon Skinner and Horology By The Sea in Encinitas, California, having interesting watches. Brandon is now one of the two authorized Habring2 ADs in the U.S. while I have not yet purchased from him, it is probably only a matter of time. He is amazingly responsive and well versed. Brandon is only 25 and his energy, knowledge and obvious maturity is going to take him a long way.
All well-put Howard. Horology by the Sea has a wisely textured collections of offerings. It's where I got my Parmigiani Fleurier Ovale Pantographe. Great service! Take care, Bill
Very interesting suggestions. I particularly liked the Renaud Tixier offering. A very attractive watch with a pretty fascinating movement. A little pricy for me but if someone gave it to me I’d be happy to wear it.
Tim, they're now putting Swatch Sistem51 movements in Blancpains ... brand new. I look at such watches (that I cannot afford) as challenges for some budding watchmaker in the future. Besides what happens when a Patek's silicon hairspring goes brittle and snaps? Take care, Bill

That Pita is super cool. I wish more companies did interesting stuff with cases.
Surprised me what Pita did since I thought they were solely doing designs-but they were a surprise ... in a good way, HRM. Take care, Bill
Classy cable pullover.
Tennis anyone?...Cheers, Bill

Hey Bill, first two knocked me for six but the last was a googly 😉. All the best, Ed
Given what we pay for watches, Ed, with less accuracy than a $10 quartz... who's really goofy? Take care, Bill
Googly is a slang term for something unexpected
@@localheroEd Yes, our behavior may not be googly...but goofy!... I like your use and not my misreading!
Bill ! Great find. Problem is what happens when these guys die and you need to service these ?! So pass

Good evening 😂
Bonjour James! Take care, Bill
@watchartsci the Delma quattro is an interesting watch you can interchange the head of the watch between the steel bracelet and rubber strap
@@Fortgeorge67 Thanks! That is a good feature!
You saw a platinum Dual Time for 12,500$ and didn't buy it? I think it must have been the steel
Yes, VD. Saw it at Horology by the Sea and it was steel. Take care, Bill
