I remember getting so excited over the turtle on the beach cuz no other games were like it back then. I was like wow there are fish in the water and animals on the land? Still remember when I shot a tree and it broke exactly where I shot. Incredible game, it was so much ahead of its time.
I remember 2007 when the OG game came out, it was a bloody brilliant year in gaming. Call of Duty 4, Bioshock, Crysis, Team Fortress 2 - they are all my favourites. I had an okay PC for 3 of them, but I had to wait 3 years more to play Crysis the way it was meant to be played. I had continuous goosebumps, and all those years I waited, was worth it. It was fucking worth it
This game is very impressive for it's age most games can't touch this game still. It's a great game and looks amazing. The physics and visuals are top notch. Wish someone would make a war game on this engine because it would be amazing.
apart from the fact that this is the remastered edition (which you most likely already know), the engine has not too much to do with the graphics of the game. it has to do however, with the unfortunately low performance and optimization, i can't really see the old cryengine getting involved in that sort of project :(

I'm having some dreams and it looked eerily similar to the inside of the ceph lithoship. Those glowing plant like things, zero G, structured cave like.... I may have played this game way too much
I always loved that difficulty affected how enemies talked, on the easiest it's english with subs, then korean with english subs, then korean with no subs.
why so many ppl hate this remaster, yes some things are better in the original... but overall it looks great. ps: some ppl complain about the controls, seriously do you ever played rainbow six on the old xbox? then we talk again :)
Its Normal but suit gots massive nerf in original crisis on highest diff armor mode is pernament and you are on max 5 shots speed and strengh you must on manually from menu
It looks incredible, but lags as hell on my PC. Luckily there's a way to adjust the settings so it still looks great but runs decently. The only thing they screwed up was the atmosphere in Onslaught mission, where it was already supposed to feel like the rain is coming. Luckily they fixed it in Awakening.
I have a quad AMD AM3, 16 RAM, and a GTX 770 but the developers do not concern themselves that the game could be played easily, on extreme, with that hardware. I did it with Crysis 2 Remastered.
I can play this game only in bits. Maybe a few checkpoints. It increases my anxiety and gives me adrenaline rush. 😅 but i promise to finish this game in 2025 😂 i am still here 46:18
To be Fair when You’re Using Maximum Armor 99% of the Time Stealth Has already been Blown and Guys are shooting at you so of course it’s the Juggernaut to the Stealth mode’s Assassin
Damn what a secure suit you have there... Don't even fear get torture negotiate when you get caught tho....the based already vaporize it and kill the person...
Does anybody know if the reason for the game being so performance heavy is due to the fact it's poorly optimized?, cause it looks nice and all but I dunno if it's the best looking game in existence so to say
Perhaps as the jungle is completely open, and every single bush is dynamic and bends to the touch of your character. Cant say for sure, I just know they never cared if any PC could actually run Crysis at the time, they used all techs that was available. I know why Crysis2 was demanding tho, but most of us do :P
Just tried this game on my Xbox One. Didn’t care for it at all. Why all the hype? I understand that Xbox graphics wouldn’t match PC, but even the gameplay is kind of dull and lacking. Not to mention the severe lag and frame rate issues on the Remaster. I really enjoy the Halo series myself. I always find myself returning to that series. Halo Infinite will be great!
This remaster is a joke. The fact that normal state for the suite is strenght and the maximum armor goes down even if you dont get hits is just bs. Thankfully I still have the original Crysis. Its way better than the remaster.

This is a remaster that came out in 2020. While the original 2007 game still looks great, it does not look like this.

Why'd this cut from Stricklands death to the carrier cutscene? There's normally a flight segment before reaching the carrier to get to that cutscene.
It looks incredible, but lags as hell on my PC. Luckily there's a way to adjust the settings so it still looks great but runs decently.
