Maybe the new Sea Wolf Ceramic Z09595 put you on to the path of adding a zodiac divewatch to your collection. But in this video we are taking a closer look at another diver from the Zodiac collection. The Zodiac Super Seawolf 53 compression automatic. Reference Z09287. A great looking heritage inspired diver.
After my summer adventures with the Seiko SPB143 (making a guest appearance here) I started looking for a diver that could replace it ... but instead of doing that .. I wanted to try a new pop of colour on my wrist for summer. And it didn't disappoint. It's a looker !

LOVE this watch. I'ts definitely on my list to try in the future, the only thing I'm not sure about is the squared off hands. It's just a personal taste thing, but I have never seen one in person so I might just my mind if I was to see one in the flesh. Beautiful watch and good quality video!

Fantastic video as always! Zodiac is hands down one of the most underrated brands out there. The Tropic Florida Orange strap would go perfectly with my Zodiac Super Sea Wolf SS Meteorite with orange accents. Keep up the great work!!

Really nice video Tom. Been a fan on these for a while and the model you chose is a great looker. I’d go for a white Tropical strap to match my vintage Enicar Sherpa Ultradive. The warm white would pick up the faded dial so well. Best of luck with the channel 🫡

Tom this is a great showcase of a watch brand I’ve been hearing more and more food things about, very cool! A bit like Morgan up there I have too many straps already, including a black JB tropical so I won’t be entering, but can recommend, they’re ace! Cheers!

Great review Tom. The Zodiac Seawolf range offers such a wide variety of color options. The jubilee bracelet looks superb too. Shame they don’t have any micro adjustments.
As for the tropic straps, I’d pair the olive strap with my vintage Seiko Jumbo chronograph
True. Stretchy thing is nice but of course you need a basic good fit.
Great video. This is the Zodiac colorway I feel the most conflicted about. On one hand, it’s undoubtedly my favorite color combination and overall design in the catalog. On the other hand, it’s one that doesn’t seem to suit my personality when I strap it on the wrist. At least I can enjoy it vicariously through you!
My favorite tropic color is grey, and I’d pair it with my blue AquaTerra.
I feel you there. This one feels the least like me. But as soon as there I some summer vibes with sun and water. It felt right
I chose for myself Rubber Tropic - Navy Blue, perfect fit for my blue Certina Ds Action 2022 edition with ceramic bezel.
A brand I have yet to explore.

So I'd also have to go with the Olive Drag strap from Joseph Bonnie and I'd pair it with my Seiko SPB317 Heritage Turtle...mainly because I already have a black strap.

Great video and photography I like the upbeat vibes of this video 😉. I would buy a Zodiac after watching this. The tropic straps they look great. The charcoal or the navy blue for me to wear with my 2 BB58s or my Ranger. Options are important. I have the JB Bonklip and I love it. Great brand.

Love the reviews and great footage! I wonder how the sea wolf would compare to the Christopher Ward Dartfish S2 and how the difference in bezel material affects light play.
My favourite JB tropical strap is the Florida Orange and I’d pair it with my green dial RZE Endeavour
No idea about that CW im afraid. The opaque bezel on the zodiac plays with light ever so slightly. (No major changes in color )
I own the ZO9266 and also contemplated your 9287v haha! I must second that this bracelet is amazing! I also own a green dial aqua terra and I actually think Omega should adopt this spring loaded, double release mechanism. Thanks for another great video. 👌👌
I realise I didn’t really deep dive k to the bracelet. Even failed to mention the stretch clasp 🙄 but like I said in the video. It lived on the tropical and nato

Thanks for the giveaway! I don’t personally like tropic straps but if I was forced I'd take the midnight blue one since it doesn't stand out like ecru or flordia orange but not outright boring like olive green and plain black. I also like mouse gray but it doesn’t match my wardrobe.

I like the Rubber Tropic - Midnight Blue to pair with my Tudor BB58 navy blue.
this blue one was already outside of my comfort zone, the watermelon well above for me personally .. but looks great !

An underrated brand which offers great value! Proud owner of a Zodiac Olympos and the same Super Seawolf. Great movements and superior finishing compared to other watches in this pricerange imo.

Hi Tom great video, I really enjoyed your reviews, I hope You will make more of them about your strap fits as this one with 58, as well as some comparisons from experiencing different manufacturers (rubber ones). If I would pick one I would enjoy the most an olive one with my one and only Tudor Black Bay 41 Red bezel, finally i would switch from the oem strap 😆🔥

It was difficult to size tho. Forgot to mention it has a stretch clasp instead of micro adjustments. But as you can tell from the video. It’s one that lived on the tropical for me
