I always knew that the music videos would be separate from the film because the music videos for Void and Death are very random, so it was expected. I don't think she cancelled, she's just going to work on the music videos first, because her songs have a lot of potential, and we know they would hardly be popular in audio format, they need a video.
The mvs are def not random, they actually mean something and yes she said she is focusing on the mvs more bc having funds for a movie and like 10 mvs is impossible.

she never said she canceled it? she just said that funding aint gonna magically appear and getting the funds for the movie will take a while, since funding for music videos and film are different. yall have to understand that the portals era is probably SO MUCH MORE expensive then the past eras, because of the creature suit and multiple masks made for each performance, i think she's touring a lot more then she used to, which would mean that more money is also being spent booking venues, hiring dancers, making advertisements, clothing, and buying props for mithe stage of each performance. not to mention she's coming out with the new trilogy tour, so that's more venue booking and more clothing and more props AND more advertisements AND more dancers to hire. we also gotta consider the making of merch, AND props AND a lot of cgi for the music videos. all to say, please just be patient with her. money is a lot more complicated then yall think, and she doesnt have an infinite amount of it.

I think it's delayed maybe for a year or two and I think the separate script probably just means the movie will have the music but different music videos than the ones she'll be releasing separately and she didn't say she canceled it just that she's doing the music videos first because she doesn't have the finances for the movie yet give it time it'll happen

I love madly Melanie, but in the most objective way possible I do not think that the funds will not arrive, being that she charges her merch a lot of money (let’s face it the perfume bottle is made entirely of cheap plastic and sells it at that price) not to mention the virtual meet and greet. I understand if she wants to spend all the money she earns on music videos, but it doesn’t seem right to charge so much for the merchandise and then say that there probably won’t be a movie because of lack of funds.
