Your teacher did not search ANYTHING she was told by the educational system to explain this assignment to you. Also the reason why you work on things like this is so that you can become a worker when you grow up and not question it so school is just the preparing part of becoming a worker.
1. How have the Yup'ik peoples traditionally used the land to meet their needs? What is happening to their traditional way of life? The salmon and other fish are going away and they need food to eat
I don't know about you guys, but I'm in the extended french program. I have to do this with all the questions in french. I have to write all the answers in french. We are not allowed to use translation software. I am not good at french.
Hi if you have a problem with question 1 aka this 1. How have the Yup'ik peoples traditionally used the land to meet their needs? What is happening to their traditional way of life? This is the answer I think: The Yup’ik people traditionally used the land to fish for salmon which was their food and they would get around 30 pounds of king salmon. But now their traditional way of life is starting to change because of climate change. They are lucky if they get around 15 pounds of fish, which isn’t a lot at all compared to before. So their traditional way of life is starting to change and they will have less food to eat. Np NOW SOMEONE HELP ME WITH NUMBER 3!!!!
It was a joke. I even put a 'winky' face to suggest so as I understand it's hard to convey such emotions through text alone. I'm not disputing your comment. I accept that I know very little about native people. I'm just saying it was unnecessary.
This is one family and one family does not a native nation make. Think about your comment truthfully bro. Native peoples are THE most poor in the nation. I know I am Lakotah Sioux and lived on the rez. The avg. net income of a family of 4 is about 6,000 USD per annum. That is twice as low as the cut off point for IRS poverty line, they have an infant mortaily of 600 times the nat'l avg. and avg life of a male is 54 yrs. Yes the natives are vanishing dude. PAx aut bellum, omnis moriar.
