This is unbelievable and very frightening. Is it due to climate change, disease, foreign fishing fleets, or something else? If it's due to foreigner's intercepting their fish, we have to do act now. Alaska Natives rely on these salmon for subsistence and have been doing so for generations.
Thats very sad for those local people that rely on that resource to sustain themselves and their families through the winter, but its not surprising as you can only fit so many straws into a glass.....
@@LackSarcasm overfishing from trawlers. The fish that are suppose to go up the rivers to spawn get wasted as bycatch and the ones that are kept get sold all over. Millions of different species of fish wasted dumped back into the waters.
