Smart! Leave them wanting more, don't overstay your welcome.. Dan got it just right.. he is distractingly handsome, smart, creative, funny and compassionate... what a fantastic human
Dan Levy is not just the most authentically beautiful man in Hollywood, but also one of the nicest and most articulate. It's a CRYING shame he isn't interviewed by everyone on TV. He's certainly getting more and more exposure than he had been. Also, we know the reason his show had the opposite trajectory of most sitcoms because his show never ebbed in quality like most do. That's because of Dan's hard work and effort into putting himself into every season.
I want to erase it from my mind just so I can watch it for the first time over and over again. This show was amazing I’m literally going through withdrawals 😂😭
There is no better show on TV at the moment!! There are split your side laugh out loud moments as well as situations that will hit you hard in the feels. The deliberate choice to make the story ultimately about love in a world without bigotry or homophobia has made all the difference in this incredibly difficult time politically and globally. All the characters are wonderfully drawn and to see them grow and change throughout the six seasons of the show has been beautifully managed. I cannot thank Daniel and Eugene Levy enough for bringing this gorgeous show into the world and to Dan for nurturing and guiding it to its magnificent conclusion. What you have done is gift us stories for the ages that we will often return to when we are sad and need an all-encompassing Canadian hug. Thank you also to the cast and crew for all your hard work, a grateful planet thanks you.
A very good interview, I loved the questions and how you let Dan answer them. I have seen so many interviews where the interviewer keeps talking over the person they are supposed to be interviewing, well done Sam Eckmann!!
I adore Dan and the show. I'm so happy I found you're show. I have loved your father as an actor and now I am a fan of the whole family and cast of the show❤️
I'm a cis-gendered straight 61 year old and I love Dan Levy. The way his character was so deep made me understand and sympathize with so many LGBTQ Brothers and Sisters. Peace!
Am I a 75 year old cis-gendered Black woman ? Yes! Have I watched all six seasons of Schitt’s Creek eight times? Yes! Am I literally in love with David/Dan and devastated I could never meet him in person? Absolutely! Am I ashamed? No!!!
I was very disappointed the way Ted and Alexis relationship ended . Why ???? Why just Patrick and David who had the happily ever after? I was crushed. Hopefully if there ever will be a spin off ,that Ted and Alexis will be back together, happily ever after with kids ,for grandparents Johnny & Moira. Ted and Alexis are meant to be together .,inspite of Galapagos.
I was disappointed at first that Ted and Alexis did not ride off into the sunset together. But on my second viewing of the series I realized that it would have been a disaster for both of them to wind up together. Particularly since they were both so young. Alexis was finally figuring out who she was. Realizing her potential. Her ability to be independent. She needed to have that journey. Ted loved her so fiercely that he would have stifled his own development to let her do that. That would have robbed him of his development. He was figuring himself out as well. He went from this meek, unsure Veterinarian . A safe noble career. But just steady. By the end he was LIVING. You can see it by how they changed his outer appearance. They grew up together. They taught each other. Then realized that they just needed to be each other’s cheerleaders apart. They truly were rooting for each other to be their best. Such an unselfish way to choose to live. If they had simply just got married, they would have just made do with life. Not fitting for these two lovely sparkling diamonds in the rough. They should be the people who go off for years separately and then reconnect. Perfectly content in who they are as people, to then just bask in their mutual love and respect for the rest of their lives.
I was sad about it, but I was mostly just proud of Alexis... She grew so much.. I think it was the right thing to do for them and I love that they showed this story.. Not all love stories are forever, and that's ok. 😍
The future for me would be that Ted and Alexis meet up. He is married with a family and she is a very successful single career woman and they acknowledge their never-ending love for each other, but go back to their happy lives.

What a wonderful example of doing what you love because you love it; not just for the money...
Yess I'm living for these Schitt's Creek interviews :) Exactly what we need in these times lol

So humble! No wonder he’s so beloved.

I really like those glasses Dan is wearing. I know he has his own line. So, kudos to Dan!
These are my favorite Dan glasses.
I Hope Dan will be given a vision for a sequel like “David & Patrick”. Where they focus on their relationship after the wedding.
One of the best interviews of Dan I've seen.
Thank you for this interview!

Dan Lev's beauty transcends preferences. Just like Jennifer Lopez.

Such a good interview! Love the extra info about David's character. So wonderful
Now I see what Dan Levy means when he says his eyebrows are trimmed usually 😂 Thank God he didn't figure out a way to cover them 🤭
😊
Imagine people shout "ew David" at you! :)))))))))))))
Dan embodies Gene plus!✌
